Are Motum and Cooley. They aren't getting a run in the preseason so I suspect their next stop is Boise. It appears to me that Jones and Clark will be on the roster opening night. Cutting Cooley and Motum will get the roster down to 15 and the Jazz would still have the flexibility to waive one of them before the contracts are fully guaranteed.

Our two heroes got a little run last night with both scoring 7 points in about 10 minutes of PT. Cooley had 6 boards in those 10 minutes and Motum hit a 3. They were both +4 in the scoring margin.

motum impresses me every time i see him play. plays within himself, gets after the boards, shoots well from deep, passes very well for a big guy.

i hope he gets a shot on a roster somewhere.

Evans got a DNP-CD last game, so maybe not.

Well, no indications from tonight's game at all: Evans, Motum, Cooley, Murry and Felix were all DNP-CD's. Jones played 9 mins and missed 3 shots. Could be doing Dahntay a favor and letting other teams get a look. Or maybe his defense and "veteran leadership" are enough to land him a roster spot.

If they get cut, they become FA's. Jazz could then try to sign either to a contract with the Stampede, but they would not own their rights, IINM. They could be signed off the Idaho roster by any NBA team during the season. However, I think it likely they play overseas for more money rather than being in the D-League.
