What should the jazz do gays? Let our youth walk every year and just keep at that lotto? I mean I want a team in Vegas and all, but you guys must be really wanting to see the Jazz move. At least they have these guys at ok, not the best, but ok deals. Pretty sure if we found the right star Gordon and burks and a pick could fetch a top 20 player. Glad we are keeping assets.

Looking at the sg's on the $8mm and below list (to adjust Burks' per year down for cap increase purposes), there are a few on there I'd take over him for same value, but they'll probably all get raises too.

Also, Burks has worked on and improved his game every year, has a good attitude (never heard him bitch, or heard anyone say anything bad about him within the orginization, never had issues on twitter, etc), is very durable (I think he only missed like 4 games in the years due to injury)

I've never seen anyone win a Burks war with fishonjazz. He knows the guy like the back of his hand and probably has multiple spreadsheets on his laptop open at all times, ready for anyone who wants to argue numbers with him.

Not a big Burks fan. However, I think the contract is reasonable. The cap is expected to rise a lot next year. Players are gonna get paid. I wish Burks would play better D and make better decisions, and I think he would be better as a scorer in the second unit. I still think he and Kanter have a lot of upside.

We had a good half against the Rockets. Our half-court defense needs a lot more work. Our offense is going to take time to come together... and it probably isn't great that we have the hardest schedule in the NBA during November... because we'll be trying to implement this stuff while getting popped in the mouth by the best. (Meanwhile... 7 of the first 8 games for the Clippers are at Staples, and the other game is in California.... how does this **** get worked out?).
