We don't have a word to explain the concept of "the smallest number closest to zero" while infinity is a word for a concept that we mostly all understand. So that's the difference.

This definition seems to be more related to the idea of a physical distance but one so small it cannot be measured. It is not quite the more strictly numerical concept that I'm thinking of, which is more the multiplicative inverse of infinity.

At any rate, I like the concept of infinitely nothing.
