Well then their game plan sucked because Hayward got at least a half dozen good looks that didn't go down.
Jazz owned the paint on both ends of the floor. Hawks couldn't stop the drive and dish all night long. I would have like to see them continue going that way; but Hayward's been a beast - you can't kill them for going to that well one more time.
I think sometimes the drive-and-dish plays get less effective as the game goes on... as the drivers get tired. Seeing as we lack drivers (and Burks is pretty poor at drive-and-dish), it makes sense to me that that became less of an option.
My gripe with Q's coaching last night was taking Hayward out after 2 fouls. I can't help but wonder if Hayward would have helped prevent the wheels from coming off at the end of the half. He might have gone with Kanter more in this game, too. Damn, he was playing well.... giving me hope. (But Trey, ... ****.)
