We tried! We were trying to feed Kanter and Favors inside. We tried to bang against Bogut. Our bigs are just not good enough! They got shut down in the first quarter inside. Bogut got several stops when I could swear he fouled Favors but we never got a foul called. After that it looked like we just gave up...

Yeah, this loss is on Quin (and the small fact that the Warriors are a vastly superior team to the Jazz and the game was in Oakland)

The way to beat the Warriors is the exact same as it was in 07, 97, and 87... Pound the hell out of them inside.

They always seem to have outstanding guard play. Whether it be Mullen, Baron and the gang, or the Splash Bros. Bogut, is the game changer. I can't remember the last time they've had a defensive big like that. But he's only one man. Pound him inside, get him in foul trouble, score pts in the paint.

I didn't like our game plan. Had sloan employed Snyder's game plan in 07, GS would have had another sweep. Had Snyder employed Sloan's game plan, Kanter and Favors would have played 35+ mins and scored 60+ pts and 30+ rebounds combined. Kanter should have been our cbooz last night. Instead, I saw Kanter sit through long stretches.

Teams that don't hammer the Warriors inside will lose due to the insane amount of shooting they have out on the perimeter.

29 of the best coaches that have ever lived, take heart! Thriller's on the case. Don't let the record or point differential confuse you, the Warriors aren't that good and easily exploited. Because this guy knows something.

Based on tonight's game, I would say the following are our most talented players right now (in order):

1) Hayward
2) Kanter
3) Exum
4) Gobert
5) Favors
6) Burks
7) Ingles
8) Burke

By "talented" I mean players who can make a play on both sides of the court without relying on the system to spoonfeed them.

Right now the Jazz have lost to the Mavs (twice), Rockets, Clippers, Pacers, Hawks, Raptors, and Warriors. The only embarrassing loss on that list is the Pacers loss, though the Hawks loss is the one that pains me the most since they should have won that game. The Jazz are losing to superior teams, and beating the teams they should hopefully be beating at this stage of their progression. And they haven't even hit December yet.

The Pelicans at home is a pretty good test. The Pelicans are the better team (or at the very least have a guy who is becoming a true superstar), but this is a game the Jazz can win if they are better than we think they are.

I don't think many expected a win.

I don't think asking the Jazz to NOT create 25+ pt deficits and barely even compete is too much to ask. Our record isn't nearly as important as HOW we play. That's why so many are upset after last night. The game plan sucked, the substitution patterns were Ty Corbin like, and the fight from most of the team was lacking.

Rewatch the first quarter and tell me how many times were Kanter and Favors stripped or blocked in the paint... Favors was 1/6 in the first quarter and was blocked/fouled twice. Kanter had 3 TOs. We tried, it didn't work, we gave up... You might say we gave up too soon, but we did try in the first quarter and they lead us by 15 in the first.

And one more thing - I wish we had a big with the skill, size and defense of Bogut! Damn that Warriors team is constructed beautifully.
