Would you sell your allegiance? This guy is selling his on eBay

How much would it take for you to sell out?

I voted for "never" but in reality there simply wasn't a number high enough in the poll options. I think it would take about 50 grand. :)

Pretty neat. If I were the guy, I'd stick around for another year or two The Bengals have some very good young talent and Lewis just helped the team get a new training facility and better scouting. Supposedly anyway.

This is interesting. Could someone do this with religion? I am no religion and have never been baptized or anything. Would Tom Cruise pay hundreds of thousands if he won my allegiance to Scientology?

Try it.
The worst thing that could happen is they would picket you at home at work.

Too much emotional investment over the years. It would be in the hundreds of thousands to make me consider it.

I honestly would but as an employee in the public sector, I'd probably be fired.

Kicky: **** 'em. Who said I'd emotionally invest myself? It's ebay. I cash the check and then say I've had a change of heart.

I have close to $5,000 in Jazz gear, not to mention one special night I spent with Delany Rudd that ended up costing me about $6,000 in psychotherapy.

To really make this worth it, it would have to be a $500,000 life insurance policy, because if I switched allegiances to the butt-****ing Lakers or something like that, I'd just find a really quick and crafty way to kill myself immediately after. Gotta take care of the missus.

Says the Warriors fan.

I have, in fact, never worn anything but a Utah Jazz jersey to any Warriors game regardless of which teams were playing. Well, I guess pants and shoes too, but you know what I mean.

My girlfriend, however, unabashedly roots for the Warriors whenever they start getting a little thuggish. This is a source of great strain in our relationship.

I like the Jazz, but I like money too. If someone offered me an amount that would make my life considerably better, I'd have no problem doing it. Sports aren't everything.

Plunk down $10k right now and I will wear whatever jersey you want me to. It doesn't mean I can't be a "closet" Jazz fan, but in public I have no prob wearing a Kobe jersey every now and then (as often as I wear my Jazz jerseys, couple times a month) for that $10k. Seriously as if that matters that much. My only caveat would be a time frame. Say 5 years, $10k. $2k per year. Works for me.

How much would you want to disown the Jazz and take up the Lakers?

$10k will do. Like I said, in the privacy of my own home I would always remain a Jazz fan, but for public appearances sake I would be all Laker Guy.
