Exum post game interview LLF. The Jazz are *OFFICIALLY* in disarrey

I missed the Kanter v Rudy exchange on tv. I rarely get to watch a game straight through. Anyway, I had to read the story from Jody Genessy to learn about it. The story has a lot more details and quotes from both players and coach Quin. I guess Enes was getting a little grouchy about it going into a timeout and Hayward and coach Quin had to interviene.

I'll add the link to the story in just a moment.

And some quotes...

Gobert
“Coach always tells me to push each other,” Gobert explained. “I tried (helping) Enes getting better defensively. On this play, I tried to switch and he probably didn’t hear me, so I just pushed him so he could close out on Anthony Davis.”

Quin
“That was great. I was so glad to see them. I don’t care if they yell at each other. I like the communication,” Snyder said.

Holy ish, my love for Rudy just went to undreamed dimensions. That moment was great. This perspective is even better.
Rudy is uniting jazz fans

Bringing the homerism back

Who doesn't love rudy? (Frank might not I guess)

Those damn French men,. They have a reputation for being incredibly rude.

JK, I've always been a huge fan of Gobert (duh!) so don't know if my fandom can increase any. But a great play by Gobert. Obviously his BBIQ is high.

So huge B. trolling aside, there might be something to this story. Quin keeps mentioning that his team is too quiet and he tries to get them to communicate.

Then Tuesday in the game Rudy shoves Enes and the two shout at each other.

Here's what Rudy had to say about it:

I think Rudy is saying what Quin is saying what Dante is saying...this team lacks leadership. Jazz have tried to manufacture leaders out of Hayward, Favors and Trey but it hasn't worked out.

So Quin challenges the team to have someone step into a leadership role. I am less concerned with Dante saying he is a leader, Burke, hay, and Favors all said the same. I am more impressed with Rudy showing leadership. I think Rudy is the leader, the team has been looking for. If he isn't now, he soon will be.

The moment Snyder was yelling "wake up" in the game against the Thunder, the camera was on Gobert as the Thunder were at the line. Gobert did a double take at Snyder as if he was taking it personally. The Thunder missed the FT, Rudy got the rebound (if I remember it right) and the comeback was on.

I wonder if Snyder was yelling more to the team or just more to Rudy, knowing he could lead the team to that comeback?

This is where he says he's been passing because he's been "freaked out".

Yeah, that easily noticeable. There were a lot of times early in the season where the shot clock had 5 seconds left and he would pass to a teammate who was covered and had less position to make a play than Exum did.

My friend i cannot copy pastie. If does not work visit 1280 and "jump to jazz audio" on team page.

Just listened to the interview... there is nothing to see here folks.

Talked about the team trusting him more and him being more of a leader out there. He's a point guard... its his responsibility to be a leader/organizer when on the court.

Again, nothing to see here folks!
