OJ Mayo on the block. Doesn't want to be moved to Denver (In recent Melo rumors)

Lmao...

player news (last updated: January 8, 2011)
spin: Mayo missed the grizzlies' last game with bronchitis (otherwise known as a black eye in the gambling community).

I've lost all enthusiasm for the idea of acquiring Mayo in a mid-season deal. His head seems to be elsewhere.

I fail to see how a CJ for Mayo deal is worth it.

AK > Mayo (I think if we were seriously shopping AK we can do better)

Memo, if healthy, is a great playoff piece... especially against the likes of the Lakers and Spurs.

I will take CJ over Mayo and he is cheaper. mayo to short to guard the taller wing players out there.

This board is delusional. All this talk about getting rid of CJ, and we don't want to trade him for a player who has proven he can score 18 points per in his first 2 seasons. I like CJ Miles a lot, but I'd trade him for OJ Mayo in a f'n heartbeat. Mayo is 6'4, Miles 6'5.

CJ was 6'6" when he entered the league and is likely closer to 6'8" now. Although I would take Mayo over him as well.

Jordan is an idiot looking to give Wallace away for money savings only. It looks like he's asking for a protected first round pick and no salary back.

Mayo not a Jazz system guy. Why do you think Memphis has demoted him to the bench?

They would love to upgrade and are exploring options, but I don't see them doing anything. Did some research on Mayo -- astounded by how far his stock has fallen. He's made himself persona non grata in Memphis for not feeding the post and looking for his own shot way too much. Don't see how you'd want either of those elements in Chicago. This is from Bucher. Sounds like a jazz man :)

lol

I would absolutely love the Jazz to acquire OJ Mayo. He is a legit scoring threat that could really thrive with Deron running the ship. Might just be the key to putting us over the top.
