What's new

Sat Dec. 27th 7PM Toilet Scroggers @ Jazz

I think the Jazz have figured out how to win when they don't have a good shooting night...play the absolute worst team in the NBA!

Well, there are worse jobs than mine, doing post-game interviews after a game like this being one of them.

Have to give a shout out to Favors who was awesome this game.

The best part of this game was not Favor's stat line which was very, very impressive. The most impressive thing about this game was Favor's shot chart. In a game that was excessively physical, where the refs were blind, deaf and stupid; Favors did not take one shot that was not a dunk or a layup. His shot chart looks like he only took one shot because they were all in the same spot. On every single play he was hacked, chopped or given a cheap shot and yet he just kept going back for more. Weaker players stop going inside when the refs are allowing the other team to cheap shot you every other play. Not Favors, not tonight. Very impressive.

Dante looked timid and scared even on this wide open layup...

Did you see the play where he went in for a layup and MCW actually grabbed his head and pulled it back and the other philly player slapped him across the arms and no foul was called. He was scared, these refs swallowed their whistles and handed out brass knuckles at half time.

Noel didn't look impressive to me. I don't think he's really 6'11," he's not strong enough to play in the post, and he has possibly less offensive polish than Jeremy Evans did when Evans first came in the league.

I almost feel bad for Noel - the kid plays hard but he looks completely lost out there. Is anyone coaching him?
