Keep in mind that Klay when coming out of college was MUCH more limited player than he is now. He was known for his offense and people were saying he will struggle in defense because he lacked athleticism. His finishing around the rim and in transition was horrible. Klay is one of the great success-stories of the league when it comes to putting in the hard work and succeeding through gradual and constant improvements in order to come to the level he is at now. I bet a lot of it is coaching, too. GS has some amazing coaching and keeps improving their coaching staff too. It is NOT coincidence that Klay, Green, Barnes have all made huge strides and are now starting for the best team in the league.
