You'd have a hard time finding a bookie for that bet. The evidence is pretty conclusive with respect to sugar, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, etc. Moreover, there are plenty of studies that show organic alcoholic beverages (i.e. those free from the ******** of mass production; i.e. those made traditionally), when consumed in moderation, can have health BENEFITS.

Surprises me zero percent, and it makes complete sense.

A funny thought process: "my faith prohibits me from consuming this abusable beverage that can tear families apart, and cause an array of health problems-- so I'm gonna go and consume insane amounts of another beverage that is COMPLETELY robbing me of my health, and robbing my country of millions of dollars in preventable chronic health care treatment".

Have to get up in 4 hours to hit the airport for a 4am flight back to STG.

Hope the state didn't fall apart in my abstinence.

As I got older I'm really starting to appreciate the flavour of good quality red wine especially pinot noir ... every region offers something different and with each year/vintage you have a slightly different flavour to look forward to.

It's also lower in calories than other alcohol (considering you drink less of it vs beer, etc), and red grapes' have properties that's supposed to be good for your heart.

Pinot noir is my favorite too

Three people gave me bottles of this. I'm down 1.5 bottles already. I love Fireball, but this has a smoother finish. O-Town's Own is really knocking it out of the park with this, 5 Wives, and Underground.

Had a bloody mary yesterday morning in Vegas and it was possibly the grossest thing I've ever ingested. Pepper infused vodka (gross), tomato juice (gross), Tabasco ( gross), peppers and pickles (good). God damn it was bad. Never again.

An 8 year Cabernet and it was ****ing fine I tell ya. I used to think that from Dog Killer to Bordeux, all the wines tasted the same, but if you come across the correctly ages wine, that is the point you're gonna change your mind.

For some god for saken reason a guy at my work is going down to podunk murderville mexico for a week. He's going to bring me back some local tequila. I'm pretty excited for that.

Update - apparently you can only bring so much across the border so he brought me 2 mini bottles of cheap *** brandy. Thanks guy.
