Robert Deniro on Golden Globes

I didn't see it, but I did see Olivia Wilde, and still giggle at how appropriate her real name is.

What happened? Come on guys, someone explain what this is all about!

I don't get either joke...please expound.

He tried telling some jokes that all generated nervous laughter or bombed. He made some statements about how most of the Hollywood Foreign Press (who put on the Globes) as well as the waiters and waitresses at the event would be deported. He took a jab at the HFP for their reviews of Little Fockers.

It was kind of an awkward moment and had more than a little touch of the "crazy uncle Bob is talking."

He was going along fine, then dropped a bomb about the waiters being illegal aliens. (that's the jist) It was all down hill from there. I'm sure it will be all over youtube/any E news out there.

While I'm here, can anyone tell me about Black Swan? Is there a lesbian scene? If so, details?

Thanks.

Yes, there is a lesbian scene, but it is very PG-13. The masturbation scene is quite a bit hotter.

The real question is why are they giving this award to Deniro? The guy hasn't done squat in the last 15 years other than ruin his legacy by taking every piece of crap script that lands within 50 yards of him.

it's a fairly intense scene that ends with kunis wiping portman's vaginal ejaculate from her mouth, but yes, if it were up to jazzfanz moderators it would be rated pg-13 because it technically doesn't show anything

It doesn't show anything.

I didn't think that was the part that would determine what kind of rating you'd give the scene. No way in hell would that make it through a PG-13 screening.

In fact, as a person that is very difficult to offend, I thought that scene was one of the most raunchy scenes I had seen in a movie in a LONG time. I actually don't really know what the point of the scene was.. I think half of the purpose of that movie was seeing how far they could stray Portman from her typical roles.

Oh come on. I've seen more realistic / less precious / better sex scenes on FX. It was a thousand times better in the script, but Portman wouldn't do it. Calling this a good sex scene is like pretending Natalie Portman was naked in Hotel Chevalier.

DeNiro was a little awkward, I agree. Also his latest movie, Stone, was complete crap.

That Robert Downey Jr part was awkward.
Ricky Gervais, was not making friends... but he talked about Downey Jr being known more for the Betty Ford clinic than his movies.
Downey Jr, then made things very uncomfortable for some of the leading laidies and the guys with them.
I'm glad I only watched a few minutes of the Globes... it is time I will never get back.

well i'm not sure it was meant to be realistic and i'm not arguing that it was excessive and i don't know what your criteria is for "good" or "better" and i detest the mpaa, but c'mon, this is america, in no way is that scene going to earn you anything less than an r

i stand by my intense comment as i think that was its purpose, but really, my post was mainly a lazy swipe at the mods
