trade Burke and Evans to new York for Calderon and early.

ny would free up more cap space for next summer and Burke would give them insurance if they don't get Jackson.
 
He has two more years on his contract for 15 million. He is 33 years old already and declining, he would be under contract when 36.

He also plays 0 defense and flops as much as anyone in this league. He does hit threes at a good rate though.

No.

I'm guessing the prize of this trade is Early.... that's way too much to give up and spend for that kind of prize.
 
Brilliant for NY... not us. Calderon is not good at this point. He was okay last year playing with Dirk in Carlisle's amazing offense. We could get that without Burke imo.
 
If Calderon contract was not ridiculous--$21m remaining--I would do that trade, if NY included a future 1st round pick too.
