I don't think there was ever a time during the season where any non homers were saying Ohio St. Were true title contenders.

Lost their QB before the season, lost their 2nd game of the season to a weak team, weren't in the top 4 til the last playoff rankings.

Nuts.

Oregon's new recruiting policy on their D-line should be to automatically offer any Polynesian that Utah(Oregon State now maybe?) does. They were missing a Haloti Ngata type beast in the trenches.......2 or 3 them actually.
 
When will the ducks learn that track teams aren't football teams?

Every time they get into the NC game they get the hell beaten out of them. Time to recuit some defense and some linemen. Skinny track players kick crappy teams like, Utah's ***. But they don't against tough smash mouth teams found in the SEC and Big 10.

Time for Oregon to focus on the trenches and not just on recruiting speedy skilled position players.

OSU was crazy good. Don't really care about Oregon, but feel bad for Mariota.
