Stephenson To Nets?

Stephenson, a poor fit since signing in Charlotte this past summer, would join the Nets, while Brooklyn center Brook Lopez would be moved to Oklahoma City, sources said. Charlotte would receive Jarrett Jack from Brooklyn and Jeremy Lamb and Grant Jerrett from Oklahoma City.

I've never been a big fan of Brook Lopez , but that's a mighty fine trade for OKC if they are only giving up that. Even if Perkins ends up in the final deal.

That's a great trade for OKC, basically giving up nothing. That said, Lopez can be a sieve on defense so I'm curious how the works out.

I think they still may have the young kid. Third year kid I think. I don't feel like looking it up. Think he went to Texas. Could be way off.

Their other PG is Darius Morris from Michigan. He's in his 4th year. With D-Will being so injury prone I'm sure the Nets would have to acquire another PG one way or another if they trade Jack.

I'm actually reading now that the Nets are working on a deal just with OKC due to them (the Nets) not really wanting Stephenson.

Not who I was thinking of. Whoever was there must have since moved on. Something Taylor???

Tyshawn Taylor. He played for the Nets until he was traded to and subsequently waived by the Pelicans nearly a year ago and hasn't been in the NBA since.

EDIT: He played college ball for Kansas.

If BKN wants to shed Brook Lopez and they have rumored interest in Thaddeus Young, what about this trade idea?
Lopez and Karasev to Minnesota; Young and Pekovic to Nets.

BKN could also get an additional 2nd round pick from Minnesota, which has additional picks in '16 and '17.
If BKN wants to keep Karasev, they could swap him with one of their other Euros and save a bit of cash.
