So was all know about the chaos and tensions in places like Syria, Iraq, Libya, Egypt...

Well now there are some new developments

1. Israel is in a shootout with Hezbollah, Lebanon, Syria and Iran.

Two rockets were fired from Syria into Israel. The Israelis hit Syrian military positions. This comes "...nine days after an Israeli air strike in Syria killed an Iranian general and several Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas."

Iran as a result has warned Israel, thru the U.S., that they are going to retaliate.

2. Yemen is in political, and physical upheaval

Houthi (Shiite) Militants captured the presidential palace and the President fled. He has since stepped down and the militants control large portions of Yemen, including the capital Sanaa. Plus there is a substantial element of Sunni extremists in Yemen as well.

Overall view of some of the conflicts and how chaos is spreading.

Will this devolve into an active multi sided war that directly involves Israel, Saudi Arabia and Iran? Thoughts?

However it develops, just let it play out. I praise for 0 involvement from the US since we've already armed Israel to their teeth. Many deaths could be on us, sadly...

If this blows up then there will be many deaths laid on far more than the U.S.

But with all the U.S. allainces in the region (Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait) will we be able to just "sit out"?

I think it's just Iran being Iran. They will continue supplying Hamas and Hezbollah weapons as they always have. The conflict will continue to wax and wane as it has for the last 50 years or so but it won't blow up. They won't start a direct war. They aren't stupid.

This is what I am hoping for as well.

However, with all the chaos and the Israeli killing of an Iranian General it provides them the best cover they have had in decades to attack.

How does it give them cover? Israel would need to attack America or Europe in some fashion in order for Iran to have some cover. We are not going to stop supporting Israel because they killed an Iranian general on their border.

Besides I don't think Iran would attack Israel anyway. Israel has an advanced military that could inflict crippling damage on Iran. Israel is a great propaganda tool for the elite in Iran. That is what this is about.

Iran could say that Israel attacked them first by killing their General.

How would other nations react to another nation killing one of their Generals?

For the record I agree that Israel is a great propaganda arm. But Iran is showing, increasingly so, that they are willing to put their money where their mouth is. They are now directly involced in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.

I doubt anything more than little *** for tats like this will happen. But Israel and Iran directly playing a game of one up-manship is never a good thing.

Please let this be true. I cannot wait for Iran to give USA a reason to wipe it from face of the earth. Liberating Iran would be nothing like Bushes hell hole for oil in Iraq. Iran does not have factions or terrorist influence like that.

Sorry. USA is easiest place to create populist sentiment because 2 party system makes divide and conquer politics way too easy. Read Hillary v Jeb topic if you do not believe. If illuminati wants war they will create support.

Unfortunately so. There is a big war mongering culture here in the US among the general population.
We need another JFK bad.

You confuse patriotic with war mongers. You want to see war culture move to Russia or ME.

You also confuse mongers with war fatigue. USA I know got tired of intervening to save everyone, hence Bush jr.'s disaster. His father contained, Clinton contained, but after 9-11 we lost are **** and said **** it let us finally campaign.
It was most ill conceived war in history but TPTB knew 9-11 would be more than enough to drum up popular support. Everyone against was quickly pushed out as fringe.

This is how US divide and conquer works. It is too easy.

I think we're on the same page. I totally understand divide and conquers politics and yes unfortunately it's what the US population has been drawn into. Red or Blue, it always ends up turning brown

What's wrong with JFK, he wanted to end the Federal Reserve Act and have the US gov't print it's own money. The FED is the source of most of the issues in this country.

The stupid Kennedy brother? He was never supposed to become just like GW the Dunce was not supposed to rise above are next president Jeb.

John was a ****ing pussbag that pulled missile system from Georgia to appease Russians moving missile out of Cuba. He should have sunk that **** hole island instead. You gave benn fighting the mother land for 50 years now beacause JFK the pussbag. Everything in Middle East today is proxy war with Russia. Iran is Russian puppet. This is why the blue team offed JFK they knew his pussbag move would lead to 75 years of fighting public for recontrol.

And this is why we're stuck where we're at. With an elite working behind the scenes that layout the candidates that can be voted every election.

JFK may have had his problems with pain and amphetamines, but he stood up for some priniciples. Nobody's pocket toy. Nobody's puppet.

He would have made a huge difference in the course of American foreign policy, he would have gone in more positive directions like the development of the space initiative and some better infrastructure. One of the many ideas that died with him was a large water project for the West, which would have created more jobs, more productive opportunities.
