Following potential 2015 draftees

Okafor's passing out of the post is great! MUCH better than people thought before the start of the season...

I was a little surprised to see Draftexpress has Hezonja down to #10. As of now, he might be the most realistic target, unless something happens to solidify the tank.

I think the whole uncertainty with him coming over right away hurts his stock. He might not even declare if he feels his stock isn't high enough.

12 pts, 4 steals. 4-8 from the field, 0-3 from 3, 4-4 from the line

What if you know he won't come over for 2 years?

For the Jazz that could be a good thing. Gives more PT to develop Exum, Burke, Burks, Kanter, Favors, Gobert, Hayward and all the other guys who need more polishing. Developing at Barcelona isn't really a drop off.

Someone sent me this.. it's a list of quotes from 'Bama's board last night while they were playing UK (who knew they had bb fans??).

Funny stuff.

- We are about to make a statement tonight!
- Is making a statement staying within 50?
- An early 2-0 run again
- If we can just keep getting fouled on 3s...
- Did Hale wash his hands in bacon grease before the game?
- On pace for 45 pts and 40 TO's
- Guys if you want to watch a real game turn to Virginia and Duke not comic hour
- wonder what's on Discovery channel tonight?
- No offense to our kids but we honestly look like retards with the basketball
- I literally don't think Kentucky is even trying
- I really think Saban could get more out of this team
- UK players look bored with us ...
- "We're the opponent now where Kentucky fans just golf clap when they score against us."
- ***fart noise***
- Kessens vagina is bleeding
- What if all our players just decide to foul out? LETS TRY IT!!!!
- I wish CAG would go out there and just cold **** a player or a fan or a ref. Then we could end this now and not prolong it.
- We got up 2-0 in both games against them. They can't take that away from us!
- I've switched over to Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Guy is trying a tofu burger in Hawaii.
- I mean what is the point to keep on playing this game? The players should just have fun with it and every time we end up with the ball whoever catches it turns and punts it is far as he can into the stands. Make the refs continue to give us technicals until there was no one left to play and have to call the game. That would be the most excitement and Alabama basketball game is had in 10 years.

I think that he declares anyways, just so he can get his clock started of his NBA contract. It sure didn't hurt Nico Mirotic to stay in Europe for the full three years. I don't expect Mario to follow suit, but I don't think he puts it off another year. I expect he'll be in the draft this year just like Saric was last year even though he had no intention of coming over right away.

Talent is talent. You pick the best players you can get and then let the people whose jobs it is to get them here over here. Playing for Barcelona won't hurt his development, and legit NBA money is so much better than what the Euro clubs can offer. I fully expect him in the NBA sooner as opposed to later. The Jazz aren't going to be contenders in 2015, but I Could see them make a huge push to get him if they make the playoff or get close to them. I have him in my top 7 right now, with top 5 potential. Two years as a draft and stash is not enough for me to pick an inferior player if he falls into my range. I'd still take him. Building a team a marathon, not a sprint.

Honestly think that Hezonja is going to be a star someday. He has the physical ability, can shoot and has the mentality of an Alpha scorer. His attitude has been questioned in the past, but I see him as a Kobe, MJ, Barkley type of guy who is supremely confident in himself and arrogant about it (sometimes to a fault.) Still don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Love the idea of a potential Exum, Hezonja, Hayward, Favors and Gobert starting lineup 2 or 3 years from now.
