By what metric?
Cousins gets more points per shot than Favors does.
LMAOOOOO
This kinda ish is the reason we will never be a great team. Cousins is a ****ing beast and brings exactly what we need, a go-to scorer. He's a top 10-15 player in the whole league. Favors is like top 35-50. I love Faves but only max homers wouldn't make this trade. The dude whines a bit? He also plays for the ****ing Kings who wouldn't? Do points and rebs not count if you whine during the game? Y'all dumb. I'd throw in our first rounder this year (top Russell protection).
His whining is annoying but not a reason not to have him on the team. Taking plays off every game, pouting and not really playing defense most possessions is a reason not to want him.
Is Cousins better than Love last season? Love had better stats than Cousins last year and the defense is about the same. Plus Love hits threes and is a better passer than Cousins.
Would you trade Favors for Love?
I'd have to think about it. But I also disagree with the comparison. And no one is as bad as Love on D.
defense is about the same.
I find it interesting that some of the people saying Cousins is a bad idea are the same people who were saying that Exum was a good idea. Based on the logic of high risk, high reward, no less.
Even though I think Cousins is almost no risk.
DMC takes plays off they say. So do a lot of other stars.

Stats aside, is this a guy you want to trade for?
That was a momentary lapse. Last night they were down 24 and he did this.

Taking a few plays off on defense throughout the season when your team is winning and making the playoffs is different than taking large chunks of games off and losing. DMC is talented enough to make this team competitive he chooses not to play at a high level. He chooses to not play defense for entire games. He chooses to throw up really bad shots throughout the game. Maybe he turns it all around in the right situation and becomes a great player but I find that unlikely to happen here in Utah and I think it may never happen. He is not a mentally strong player that puts it all on the line and is striving to make his team better and himself better. I think that the Mental aspect of basketball is just as important as the physical side. I dont think he has the mental fortitude to win. I think his mental weakness will be exposed if he is ever on a playoff team. I cant see him keeping it together in multiple close physical 7 game series.
