Good post. Though I have always been a JJ fan and those are bigger shoes to fill than the majority of Jazz Fans give credit for.

Fair point. I guess i just wish he was 6' 8" but then if he was 6'8" hed be a top 3 pick. I am really liking this kid. I also like the John Wall likes him best out of the KY kids.

If you could get a JJ clone with the 8th or 9th pick that is a winner. He took a couple years to figure things out. I think Booker is ahead of him on development especially on the defense end. I liked JJ until he became a Clipper and my disdain for all things Clippers took over... he'd look great in a Jazz uni though.
 
right now i am still hoping for Stanley Johnson to be available, then i am hoping for Hezonja. If neither are on the board i would be happy to take Booker.

Booker instantly makes Exum, Hayward and favors better. It would be more difficult to double in the post and teams would have to watch the drive and kick by exum.
 
The point is Booker has good enough size to play SG in the league. Idk what his wingspan is, but his height shouldn't be a concern at all.

I never said it was too short to play sg. I said I would prefer a 6' 8" guy patrolling the wings. I think guys like Kawhi, Iguodala, and George make defenses.

Although Matthews and Klay are solid defenders and theyre not super tall or lengthy.
 
Well I'd prefer a 7 footer playing SG, but you get what you get. 6'6 is easily adequate enough to play SG. You don't need to have an elite wingspan to be a decent defender, hell, even JJ Redick was decent at defense for a while.
 
Maybe my standards are low, but I just want a player who can make shots. Don't care what he looks like or if he's 6'8" or 6'4"...please, let's just draft a "making" guard.
