ESPN destroys Grantland
I was pretty ticked hearing this news. I read all of Zach Lowe's columns and listened to all of the podcasts. It was the most detailed and informative analysis I could find on the NBA. I'm gonna miss it. I'm sure lots of you feel the same. Anyways, I'm posting to...
You wouldn't take SA's just for this year? Duncan, Aldridge and Leonard. I think most would agree this is the best in the league. You have to put the Cavs in there with James, Love, Mozgov/Thompson.
My sources were correct...
Thats too bad. Terrible name. I guess it goes along with lots of the NBA right now though right? Right on the level of the Smoothie King Center in NO.
right now. Just for this upcoming season. SF,PF,C. (I know SF generally isn't included in "front court", but hey it makes us look better). The only one's that I think I'd clearly take are Cleveland and S.A.
Houston? Howard, Motiejunas, Ariza. I wouldn't take them.
OKC? Adams/ Kanter...
They have added a few guys. I don't know if ilyasovas shooting alone will warrant him playing more than 20 mpg.
Obviously SVG is trying to put together a similar roster to what he had in Orlando with Drummond surrounded by 4 playmakers/shooters. It does seem like their bench should shoot...
If the Jazz struggle a little with spacing, the Pistons will have even more problems this year. Jackson + KCP + Marcus Morris doesn't equate to much 3 point shooting.
I think Stanley Johnson will be huge for them though as the season goes along. He's looked good in the preseason.
