Dallas trading Luka to the Lakers for Anthony Davis! Utah involved.

Cy finally has his boy from last year's draft.

But yeah DAL has to be on ultimate spin mode to sell this trade.

DAL has excess of bigs now and LA has a an absence of bigs.

This is just crazy.
 
Of course we're involved helping Luka move to the team every fanbase, including ours, hates the most in the league.

We couldn't somehow be involved in this by actually getting Luka, despite having infinitely more assets than the Lakers. Great job, Danny.

Brother, this trade was happening whether the Jazz were involved or not.

To improve the asset-base. But I agree it’s weird he’s helping the Lakers extend their window of relevance.
 
Anthony Davis is older and just as injury prone as Luka. He's also not a consistent defensive presence, though he can be if he's healthy and motivated. Not a good move by Dallas.

Makes sense for LA though. You get a 25 y.o. All NBA player who can attract free agents to LA....if star players still make it to free agency.
