Exactly. Like Dallas GM wants defense, huh? What about to the Rockets for Tari Eason/Amen Thompson and all the picks they can handle. What about to the Memphis for JJJ and Edey and picks?
All are much better options than going for a 32yr old AD who's never won anything in his life without a true Alpha. This Dallas teams gonna blow up Nets/Suns style without having control over any of their own picks(sold their FRPs to OKC, HOU and SAS already through 2030)
Yeah, but technically Donovan Mitchell didn't request a trade either. His camp just said that he'd like to be traded, or he was open to being traded.

Add in 4 1sts. There are multiple ways to make the numbers work. Drop Sexton, add Collins. Swap Clarkson with Hendricks... I mean... Kings ransom type stuff there.

Us getting involved saved the Lakers from having to give up Austin Reaves, who I thought Mavs absolutely should've gotten in the deal.

Just incredible to me this was the best they could do.
Even if they’re dead-set insistent on getting Anthony Davis, I just struggle to accept there was no other way to secure more draft capital. But maybe I’m wrong.
Either way, the Lakers are thrilled which makes the universe sad.
