He gave the ball to a player that scored. How in any definition is that an assist?!

In that case, every bad pass to the defender that leads to the opponent scoring is also an assistHe gave the ball to a player that scored.
Yeah, he's going to be a solid shooter. It would be amazing if he can reach Naz Reid level where he can get 10 up in a game type of volume.Flip is currently at 37.5% from 3 for the season. Seems legit.
The nice part is his floor more than justifies his draft position, so he is a steal regardless. It will be interesting to see how Flip develops. Great start to his career to find out that his offensive abilities seem to translate pretty well.
Definitely has the tools to become a very good offensive player, but defense is the main questionmark. Can he bulk up to offer some resistance to bigger centers and wings without giving up on what can do in the offensive end or will he remain a defensive liability and end up somewhere in the same neighbourhood with Vucevic, Sabonis, Senguin or KO?
He is definitely a smart player and that combined with his skills and size give me faith that he will at the very least have a decent NBA career.
His plus/minus was horrific. But hopefully his D comes along, we knew that was where his challenge was/is and it will be the difference between being a journeyman and being a starter level player. Not to rain on the parade but Hardy really roasted Flip and the other front court starters in the media after the Pels game for lack of defense.
Horrible defense thoCareer high 25 last night. Shooting splits for the season 51/39/61. Odd that his FT% is so low, but you can't ask for much more from a 2nd round pick at this point.
