2025 Playoffs Chat & Chill Thread

Memphis also very bad
Better than many teams in the eastern conference playoffs though.
OKC could have won 70 games if they kept their foot on the gas and they had the most 10+ point wins in NBA history and the biggest point differential in NBA history and they are up by like 47 points with their best players having his worst game of the year.
They too good

Jalen Williams has quite a bag.
I'm turning this game off now lol

See what I mean when I say the league probably isn't psyched about the Thunder adding another #7 or #8 pick in this draft... They could add Knueppel or Fears.

The biggest point differential in NBA history in a game is 58 points in 1956

51 point win. Damn
SGA 4-13 and 1-7.
Scary

The top teams are teaching me that we probably should’ve unloaded Lauri before this last year when his stock was higher for picks. We lack so much height, length, athleticism, and shooting. I think the only young player we have who could start for these teams might be Kessler. Our young wings and guards probably wouldn’t even play. We might be 3 years away from sniffing the playoffs TBH. We really should’ve tanked the right way from day 1 instead of delaying this process for 2 years.

The conclusion after watching the curb stomping the Thunder (the team of all the so-called tanking teams that depends on their "tank" the least) put on the Grizzlies is that we should have tanked more?

This kind of logic is why I find trust in tanking to be more of an article of faith than something that we've really looked at seriously and examined empirically.

If we get Cooper then the tank was successful despite the horrible tank the last two years.
If not then this sucks

Good point.

And then we need the 2026 pick to be good and we need something out of our last two years of picks to show some life. Hendricks, Sensabaugh, Key, or Collier need to make a drastic step. I don’t count Williams, because I think he’s a gigantic bust already and will be out of the league once his rookie contract expires.
