I think it's fair to question Ace as a shooter based on his college stats, but those who have followed him since high school don't question that part of his game.
Makes sense, that's at least what the little film that's available shows.
And for the record I'm not a Traore homer, I probably was at first, but he's just someone that I've chosen to follow closely. I've wanted to understand how to scout international players and so I've used Traore as an...
Randomly I was just looking at Jabari Smith's draft profile and it is fairly similar to Ace. I would argue that Jabari's numbers are significantly better though.

I like the way McNeeley plays more than Riley, and I saw them both enough to feel confident in that opinion.
I need to go back and reevaluate where to put Riley on my board, but I'm pretty confident it will be below McNeeley.
Here is some Boogie Fland propaganda now that I've had some time to run the numbers.
If you look at Fland's numbers on Tankathon or ESPN they are diluted because they include the tournament games where he was just playing a supportive role and his hand wasn't 100% yet. Here are his numbers for...
I was in a middle of a similar reply and yeah, he doesn't take in to consideration volume, and for some of the numbers he puts out there I'm sure there is the tiniest of sample size.
One of the other problems I have with any numerical comparison between NBA draft prospects is the level of...
Not that anyone else cares, but I was thinking about this idea the other day and I think you would have to put a time limit on how long you can carry over cap space that you trade for. I think probably somewhere between 3-5 years. That way teams aren't just hoarding it and waiting for the...
I think 20-25 Million is where the Jazz probably start negotiating, but this is all old money. There will be new contracts signed this year that will keep pushing the average up. You also pay a premium for youth.
It's interesting because the Jazz both seem very far away from needing someone...
That's right, it was summer league. I had to remind myself so I found these videos. He looks 8 feet tall.

Yang looks pretty amazing in his highlight videos, but the competition looks equally unamazing. Didn't he play in a preseason game? I think he was pretty bad if I remember correctly.
Nothing will ever be as bold as Hansen Yang at number one last year, lol. Fland probably goes back to school and we can have more data against good teams next year. FWIW, if he doesn't go back to school I'll reevaluate, but there just aren't many guys that I like better.
I do really love...
I was reviewing my big board and had brazenly put Tugler at 30. I looked it up and he is going back to school, now I need a new #30 to complete my first round.
In this big board they have Beringer and Wolf going 20/21. It made me think about how different they are as prospects.

Here's the Johnny Juzang Comparison: https://www.nba.com/stats/player/1630548/shots-dash?SeasonType=Regular+Season
- 20% of 3's are pull ups and makes 29.6% of them.
- 16% of 3's are not open and makes 27% of them.
I randomly looked up the shooting numbers for Brice Sensabaugh from the tracking information at NBA.com: https://www.nba.com/stats/player/1641729/shots-dash?SeasonType=Regular+Season
A couple of highlights:
- Takes about 27% of his threes as pull up 3s and makes 36.4% of them which is about...
