Yeah, giving him the starting job this season and then taking it away from him in a year or two doesn't seem like a great idea. Not sure he could handle it.

Something Locke mentioned this morning that I agree with is that Lavine could be a good trade chip for us in the down the road if we try to trade for a bigger star. I think teams would be more interested in a package centered around Lavine and draft picks than they would say Sexton, Collins...

Looks like Kessler's not in the rotation.

TJ said Kessler told him he's gained 18 pounds over the offseason but it hasn't affected his mobility.

Sounds more like a break to me.

Possibly but I'm not so sure considering AD's injury history and the fact that he'll be like 33 or 34 by then.

This. And it happened really quickly too...even by his second season it already felt like a lot of the joy and enthusiasm that he played with in his rookie season was gone.

I'm not sure Henricks has a game that would really benefit from playing big minutes in the G-League, similar to Ochai last year. He might be better off playing a few rotation minutes right away.
