I'm thrilled. If they can give me an option that's cheaper than League Pass I'm in. I only use it to watch Jazz games anyway. That said League Pass is not a bad deal price wise...though their software leaves a lot to be desired.

Yup, I'll be pretty happy is that's how things shook out, especially not giving up anything for it, though even if we have up nothing too major I'd still be pretty happy.

I'd go with Hawkins because I like the elite shooting and you can never have enough of it. Wouldn't be upset with JHS either.

The nice thing about the NBA is that unlike say the NFL, position needs to be less taken into account. So I guess all my votes are for the player I like best that's left.

That's pretty much where I'm at, but I would be doing my best to drink the kool aid if the Jazz did get him. He's one of my favorite non-Jazz players ever.

I would trade anyone on the team other than Lauri and a few picks for Scoot. Trouble is I don't think the Blazers would do it.

Ok, they're better but not much better. Which is why the lottery almost never plays out the way the odds say they will. Which is why I don't get the complaining about how the Jazz should have lost more games.

But it just goes to show that the chance doesn't equate to success. The odds just aren't that great for the lottery. The Blazers won like 16 more games than the Pistons and got a better pick. Do the Spurs get the number 1 pick if they lose another game? Who knows, it's all random.

A legitimate shot? Not really. Heck, their legitimate shot at a top 4 pick didn't matter at all.

But the two greatest players in Jazz history were drafted at 13 and 16. Plus the Jazz had two top 5 picks since then. Unfortunately the Kanter/Exum duo didn't pay dividends.

I mean, if the Jazz could have found the perfect combo of losses to somehow guarantee themselves the first pick, sure, they should have done it . I'm sure the Pistons thought they did and they dropped to 5th.
