Totally agree. But if Knecht wins is 8 more games and we draft 8th instead of 3rd, for our timeline, would that be worth it? He is a great piece to add to a seasoned team bc he will add that extra spacing. Would not be as good of spacing with the jazz but he would be infinitely better than...
Agreed. More than likely, Knecht falls into the same category…our ball movement is not good. Knecht would make a slight improvement for right now but jazz need to be looking 3-4 years from now. Still am ok with the Cody Williams pick. Just my opinion on long term building strategy.
When you already have a championship lineup, adding a plug in piece like Knecht is a great option. Great draft pick by the Lakers. In the same league, Knecht does not look near as good as he did tonight if he is playing for the Jazz. The Jazz have a lot of great role players or even...
He has been a low volume 3 pt shooter thus far in his career. 35% in college. 33% NBA thus far.
Just for comparison sake. Kelly O only shot 30% from 3 his final year also on low volume.
Flip's release is smooth. Not worried. Finding his way rookie year. Can anyone imagine a better...
Glad to see him break out! He has a lot of versatility. Significant better agility and athleticism than KO, not as crafty yet. Still have no idea how he dropped to us. I was mad they let him go at 28 but that’s why they pay the guys upstairs I suppose. Has a lot still to work on but a steal...
I don’t know what’s going to be allowed this year. Seems the league is shifting to allowing more physical play though again. Will see if that slide continues
Sensabaugh and keyonte better be doing all sorts of drills the next few months to improve their handles. That was amateur hour, need better composure against pressure. I can’t stand that kind of perimeter extended contact but if the refs aren’t going to call it better figure it out...
I agree but what do you do when he’s projected late teens twenties. Would be hard to trade back and then potentially have 4 picks. Very curious how this draft plays out bc there seems to be a lot of similar talent past the first 10-12 players
Was thinking the same thing the other day but I just don’t see the same court awareness between the two. Curious how their athleticism matches up and especially the initial burst after the acl. If colliers defense is quite a bit better than makes it a difficult decision after the injury
Fun college town! Actually a pretty quick growing city these days. Poor Missouri bball. The optimism the program had followed by his college career ending injury before he even got going was devastating. That’s the kind of luck NBA teams need to be great.
Nuggets get MVP IN 2nd round...
Sallis is a very good defender. They do have a similar offensive approach however JC more polished with shooting mechanics midrange. Sallis is a better athlete than JC and arguably better from distance. He also is a year behind from where JC was entering the draft. They are the same height...
I wouldn’t hate it at 29/31. Hrs still very raw but the progress he made in just one season from zags year to wake forest is super intriguing. If he could bulk up he could have some promise, super athlete. Curious what his numbers would be. Maybe see a little jaylon brown there. He is...
With filipowski still middraft projection, similar to last season, curious if this suggests maybe the ‘24 draft is being undervalued. Or is it just the ceiling of filipowski is known and this draft will just be about drafting youth with potential? Curious what thoughts are on this from people...
