If we take Topic then we have to deal away Clarkson/Sexton/Key real soon. At least two or even all three of them. Just can't get excited about the prospect of having one of the leagues smallest back courts again after watching Conley/Don for three season.

I'm (almost) totally serious. If you equalized their neck size, wouldn't Topic and Collier be virtually the same-sized player (to go with their similar drive heavy games)?

Because we are in rebuild mode. If you swing and miss it’s not the end of the world. Better to swing than to settle when we are in no position to just fine tune a playoff team.

Anytime you miss in the lottery it's a huge blow to your team's long term potential and asset potential.

It seems to me that the players who most surprisingly "pop" as stars in the NBA are are as often those that were regarded as low ceiling types. For every Giannis there's a Jokic or a Bruson, or even a Donovan Mitchell.

Walter, Williams, Saluan or Carter at 10 before topic from my standpoint

Those 4 are my hope for 10 in no specific order

Been on this train for awhile now. Generally I think people need to reevaluate how they see potential and get out of the floor/ceiling type thinking. I’m sure there is some validity to the traditional “high potential” traits we look for….but I think those things are weighed to heavily and causes people to miss/overlook what indicates high potential.

A more realistic comp for Ware is probably along the lines of Myles Turner, imo, but he can probably do a few more things to set himself up offensively than Turner.
Yes! He loves to bang it down low.

I’m surprised he isn’t mocked higher.

I would also trade down from #10 to get him, then trade up our #29 to grab Carington cos he won’t last til #29 I’m sure of that.

Carington has the “Hunger” and the “Drive” I also see in Maxey.

Ware is a possibility for OKC at #12 and POR at #14. If the Jazz wanted Ware, they shouldn't trade down too far, imo.
