    Juzang 4 year deal

    What a thrilling offseason

    Does Lauri Get Traded?

IMO, hard pass on any W's deal that doesn't include Kuminga - unless it truly is "all the picks."

What should we ask from Spurs for Lauri?

Was literally just about to post this.

    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I think it's like 2003-esque. One clear prize, but potential franchise cornerstone/all-star players throughout the top 10.

    Does Lauri Get Traded?

I am coming around on the idea of trading Lauri. My STRONG preference coming into this offseason was to make a competitive move - trade some of our draft stash for a franchise cornerstone and build around Lauri, Keyonte, and trade acquisition (+ the other young guys). But given the crickets...

    Does Lauri Get Traded?

Are we clear on what exactly the Spurs package would be?

    Does Lauri Get Traded?

Could be. If we're negotiating in the media, we're playing it right. I probably value Kuminga more than most living here in the Bay Area. He made a hell of a leap last season and is still just scratching the surface. IMO, he's an immediate 20+ ppg guy for us next year, and the athletic...

    Does Lauri Get Traded?

It’s a binary consideration, IMO. Kuminga + the house would be a passable return for Lauri. Otherwise they have nothing worthwhile to offer.

    Does Lauri Get Traded?

The Kuminga package is enticing. He’s a hell of a piece to build around

Who is the PGOTF (Point Guard of The Future)?

I'll go with Keyonte. He's got a special mentality and a raw scoring ability that don't come around often. We'll see how much of a "true PG" he ever becomes, but I think he'll get there, and will ultimately be a guy who's hard to keep off the ball.

Jazz select Isaiah Collier at pick 29

Still cannot fathom how he was on the board at #29. Plenty of warts. But talented dude. I probably watched 80% of his games this year and I don't think there's a better player in the country at getting downhill. Got whatever he wanted getting into the paint and going to the rim. Honestly, he...

Filipowski. Barf. Won't fight anyone on the BPA argument. Just really don't like him. Call it the Duke effect.

    2024 NBA Draft Reaction Thread

We are getting unanimously positive grades on draft day #1. Frankly, it's hard to disagree. I would have Cody Williams squarely in the top 5 (behind Risacher/Sarr, squarely in the next cluster) and I still cannot fathom Collier being on the board at #29. Still hate this draft and can't peg a...

Who will you draft with 32nd pick

Tyler Smith and Johnny Furphy are 1A/1B for me. Tyler Smith's toolkit speaks for itself. And with Furphy, that stroke is just so pure - hard to imagine him not becoming a 3pt threat. Plus it would be a favor to all lady Jazzfanz. #swoon

Is Cody too similar to Hendricks?

IMO - firm no. Don't think you can have "too many" dudes that are 6'8 - 6'9 with good length and versatile skillsets. Hendricks has also not established himself as a cornerstone, rotational piece, either. So I don't think there's any way to identify either as redundant to the other.

    Isaiah Collier -- elite passer?

I am one of the (very) few die hard USC basketball fans, as it's my alma mater. I probably watched 80% of their games last season (which was painful). Here are my thoughts on Collier: He's a very nice player, and great value at #29. Even in a strong draft I would have expected him to go higher...

    2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

I wish. I know you guys all think I'm full of ****. But there was once a legitimate connection we were close family friends with (high-ranking NBA executive for an Eastern Conference team; a name you would all know). TL;DR, there was a divorce that led to a big, nasty spat between the women...

Even absolutely hating this draft, it's hard not to get a bit excited on draft day. Ready to drink the kool-aid.
