Orlando Magic close to trading away $50 million in salary.

I think Nelson might be done. Part of what they liked about Hedo was his ability to help run the offense as a point forward-if he can do that again then between him and Arenas, there might not be a need for Jameer. I have no idea if this was a good or bad move for Orlando. Washington and...

Don't Ask, Don't Tell is officially history!!

This is going to be one of those things that when I explain it to my kids years from now, they won't believe. "Gays couldn't serve in the military openly? Next you'll tell me you didn't have any cell phones."

Muslims, Political Correctness, and the Juan Williams saga

If a white commentator had said "it makes really uncomfortable when a bunch of young black males in saggy jeans and tattoos walks in to a grocery store, because you know they might rob the place" he'd appropriately be condemned for saying something bigoted. I really don't get why it becomes okay...

    Thoughts on Memo's return?

Definitely off the bench, don't mess with the Al/Sap starting combo. I could see him closing out halves and games, though, but I see no reason he should play more than 20 minutes a game until the playoffs. They might even want to try and give him just enough to prove he's healthy enough to be...

    Punxsutawney Phil Jackson making excuses

I'm always astounded when the guy that coached Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kobe Bryant whines about unfavorable treatment.

    Lefty thoughts on Paul Ryan?

I don't doubt his understanding of many issues is superior to many of his colleagues, R or D. What I doubt, and kind of what I was getting at, is that he would do anything differently than any other Republican. He certainly didn't show any willingness to break ranks and work with the Dems while...

    Lefty thoughts on Paul Ryan?

I still have no idea what we're supposed to be recovering to. Or what a recovery will look like. I have no idea what jobs the unemployed are supposed to be on the look out for. Where is the growth supposed to come from that is going to put millions of people back to work, and also outpace...

    Lefty thoughts on Paul Ryan?

He gives traditional conservative ideas an intellectual patina, which I know many on the right are on the look out for. He is very sharp, no doubt about it. I think he's one of the conservatives that deserves his reputation for being smart-I'm still shocked that most consider Newt Gingrich an...

    Surprise...surprise.....the Volt's a total communist piece of ****..

Wait, an Investor's Business Daily editiorial didn't like something involved with the Obama Administration? Next you'll tell me Keith Olbermann isn't a fan of Fox News.

Is this t-shirt too offensive to wear to a party?

Seems more appropriate for Easter, but I think it would work for the party too.

Of all the absolutely insane things Beck has said that come from fringe right-wing Mormonism, the article focuses on that?

    The Forgotten Man

You know, this is always the answer I get when I ask people who lived through the Reagan administration. It's never any specific policy or accomplishment, the first thing I hear is "he made me feel better." I think it explains a lot about the direction the country has taken since that time.
