It is truly sad. I wish there were fewer troll posts and people ripping each other apart for their opinions. I don't know why it couldn't be more like the NBA subreddit on https://reddit.com. The discussion there is a lot more respectful. Unfortunately the Jazz aren't discussed nearly enough...

I also think creating incentives like that, you make it easy for a player to alter their playing style in such a way that ultimately hurts the team. I'd much rather have Hayward playing smart, aggressive basketball, rather than pass on open shots just because it might hurt his incentive-laden...

Maybe I should have expounded a bit more. My point is that the Jazz overpaid for AK, and if they match a max deal on Hayward they will be doing the same. In both cases it limits spending on other free agents/RFA's. Hayward does not deserve max money, period.

I like Gordon, but if someone offers his a max deal and the Jazz match, it's going to be like AK all over again. How many guys who should be third options on a team are getting max money in the NBA?

Why will JL3 be back? His contract is not guaranteed from everything I've read. Garrett was a much better backup.

The thing I'm most excited to see with Exum is if he his first step is as effective in the NBA as it has been against lesser competition. If so, I can't wait for a lot of wide open dunks and threes. I am really looking forward to summer league.

I don't recall being upset with the Hayward pick. I was just unsure if he would turn out to be a good player or not. I've been a fan since the year the Jazz moved from NO to Salt Lake back when I was in junior high. I can't see how I could ever stop being a fan, especially not over something...

I thought I saw it on Twitter, but I can't find it now, but I believe it was in response to the number of years in a row that a Kentucky player had been drafted in the lottery I believe. He was defending Kanter because he was not included in that number.

I was at the Jazz draft party the year Stockton was selected. Granted, the reaction wasn't THAT negative, but there were a lot of unhappy fans in attendance. We all know how that turned out. When people are overly dramatic about a draft pick they look like petulant children. I'm not saying...

Did you see Trey Burke play? I know it was his rookie season, but there were a lot of red flags watching him during the course of the year.

And don't get me started on how much he needs a proofreader for his posts. He looks like such a hack with some of the stuff he posts when he can't even spell correctly.

He was a condescending *** to one viewer who asked him a question. He acted like the guy should have visited his blog before asking anything. If I was that guy I probably would have posted a message telling him to **** off.

Locke was so emphatic about it during his podcast today. He brought it up at least three times. Also, Spence Checketts is regurgitating the same thing on Twitter. I think the Jazz are in damage control mode since this deal fell through and want Favors to think he wasn't involved.

I hope I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the Cavs are just trolling everyone.

I think that's a good problem to have. At least in this case.
