It is dumb that division record has so much meaning... the only thing divisions do in the NBA is determine which 4 out of 14 teams in your conference you never play 3 times (the other 10 teams rotate, with 4 each year). Should just be head to head and then mutual head to head in a 3+ team tie.

Don't you mean that endorsement opportunities become more frequent in a big market? I seriously doubt there are clauses in these agreements that say "You get paid *** if you play for a L.A. or N.Y. based team, XX if you play for a Miami based team, X if you play for a Utah or OKC based team"

So its Hood for Crowder because Joe was getting bought out either way... .... we get an affordable starter / high quality bench player (down year granted). Hood probably better than crowder but crowder costs a third...
