    2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

Our team right now is overly talented in the back court, and under talented in the front court. The best way to redistribute our talent is to trade Conley because there are multiple teams looking for an upgrade at PG. Here are three packages in exchange for Conley that I most like. I expect if...

    Conley irrelevant...

LOL, this is wrong. Bojan came because the Jazz offered most $ and years.

    Conley irrelevant...

How about you disprove it (that is how real science works). It has been mentioned by Jazz media people (I don't remember who) that Indiana was unwilling to give the 4th year. Also, nobody believes we wouldn't have signed Bojan just because we had Crowder on the team.

    Conley irrelevant...

100% because we offered the most $ and years. Conley may have impacted his attitude/excitement level, but having Conley did not impact Bojan's decision to sign with the Jazz.

This guy gets it. How about we talk Bosh out of retirement?

    2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

Not a bad idea, but not sure why Portland would prefer Davis over Gibson. Also, I think NY would get back a pick for sending out the best player (Gibson) and taking on Hood's salary for this year and next (assuming he won't be productive next year if he comes back from the achilles).

    Jazz Mid-Range Money Ball?

Does it seem like the Jazz are hunting mid-range shots more than in the past? For example: Mitchell seems to take more pull-ups now, Clarkson seems to have the green light to work just outside the restricted area, Bojan has ran a lot of post-ups recently, and of course Mudiay is making a living...

    2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

I know there will be some low-lights where Bradley gets brutalized on defense, but overall I think he would be at least as good as any other option that is actually available. Worst case scenario we simplify to a drop big defense (a la Blazers with Kanter last year) and muck up the game to tread...

    2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

I would take Tony. Defensively he ends possessions with rebounding and takes up the space under the basket. Offensively he has good hands, finishes well around the basket, and gets rebounds. That will be enough for 10 minutes a night against back-up players. The other nice thing about Bradley is...

    2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

https://www.espn.com/nba/draft2011/columns/story?columnist=ford_chad&page=Biyombo-110614 "As the workout comes to a painful conclusion, one NBA GM leans over to me and says, "Bismack Biyombo just played a game of one-on-none ... and he lost." A Biyombo vs Davis one-on-one would never end... in...

    Line-ups/Rotations You'd Like to See

This 5 man lineup now has the best net rating in the NBA (of lineups with at least 120 minutes) and it will stink if we only get to see it a few minutes of it each game once Conley comes back. On another rotation note, I would like to see how a 3 guard bench unit of Conley, Mudiay, & Clarkson...

    Praise for Mudiay

Mudiay has shown a desire to be coached and the ability to learn. Likewise, the Jazz have not tried to force him to be a cookie-cutter guard, but rather have improved his unique game (mid-range based). I would love for Mudiay to have an entire off-season in the Jazz system. I think he would...

    "We're going to war, bro."

 I had a reply but decided to delete it. No need to waist effort, logic, or reason on a fanatical political thread.

    2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

At this point, I wouldn't mess with the team except to add a guy that can guard big PFs (i.e., AD & Giannis). Our pg, sg, and sf rotation is stacked. Bradley is looking good enough to give us 6 minutes each half at C. Here's hoping that Marvin Williams gets bought out and we can pick him up!

Could we be in the title race this year?

IMO, we are a top 4 team in the west, which makes us a contender. Our biggest weakness is nobody to match up with big PFs, which is only an issue if we face the Lakers or Giannis.

Add any non-all-star former Jazz player to this team, who are your top 5?

Here are a bunch I would like to see (not in order): 1) Harpring - I think of him as similar to Crowder but with better offensive game, better rebounding, and more of a natural PF. 2) Ron Boone - This is kind of cheating, but he never made the NBA all-star team (only ABA). Dude is a stud and...

Dante Exum scores 28 points! - Jazz fan reaction

What a freaking lunatic! He wanted Exum to play the back up PF/C instead of Jeff Green???

All time wasted NBA talents ?

Hat tips to: 1) Marquese Chriss (million dollar body, ten cent head) 2) Vince Carter (really good career, but could have been an all-timer) 3) Michael Beasley

    Clarkson vs. Burks

Clarkson seems to have a much tighter handle and that helps him be in better control. Also, agree with the (young) Lou Williams comparison. Side bar, I can't believe that Lou Williams was never paid more than $8 million a year.

    Jeff Green will be..

    Fun to look back LOL
