What's new

Add any non-all-star former Jazz player to this team, who are your top 5?

I want Derick Favors in Mark Eaton's body with Steve Novak's three ball, Joel Bolomboy's athleticism, and Ingles' durability.
Wes thinks you’re high. Let’s not settle for anything less than 15 Michael Jordan clones, emmk? We get them young enough, they won’t be all stars yet, alright?

Here are a bunch I would like to see (not in order):
1) Harpring - I think of him as similar to Crowder but with better offensive game, better rebounding, and more of a natural PF.
2) Ron Boone - This is kind of cheating, but he never made the NBA all-star team (only ABA). Dude is a stud and classy, so really this is just more of a shout out.
3) Wes Matthews - Kind of like an upgraded O'Neale.
4) Enes Kanter - If we are looking for a C that can boost the rebounding and bench unit offense this could be a great fit.
5) Favors - Duh
6) Al Jefferson - Can't believe I didn't remember him earlier.

I'd like to see a Jefferson/Mudiay duo. I mean, not that I'd want to watch that kind of basketball, but I'd be curious.

Can I just vote for a second Rudy Gobert? Same guy, just two of him?
That would be sweet. 48 minutes of a fresh rested Rudy would probably get us a title this year

Could you imagine being able to put in two Rudy Goberts for defensive possessions at the end of games? Always have one of them guard the inbound.

Darrell Griffith, for multiple reasons. Led the league in 3P% one year, could jump out of the gym, close to Donovan, unsullied by any other team's jersey, and one of the most underrated players in franchise history.

It’s crazy to believe the league had a year where nobody could shoot above 36.1% from deep.

What if we could give Gobert the post moves of Al Jefferdad?

With two Rudy Goberts you could pretty much get every rebound, also the Gobert to Gobert lob would be pretty sweet. Who's going up high enough to mess with that?

If Rudy knew he had another Rudy to protect the rim, his perimeter defense would be so legendary.

Hard comparing eras... if harpring shot threes yes... thurl the same... can project that both would have been good. Harpring was king of the long two.
Yeah I'm not sure Matty would be a huge threat. He could make the 3 but not like guys now days.

About 15 years ago, the 3 started to become the most popular shot in basketball. That's why we have forwards and centers making 3's. Even though they were the biggest kids on the court growing up they started shooting 3's at a young age rather than be under the hoop all the time.

Karl Anthony-Towns comes to mind. Like dude why are you beating us from out there, stay in your "lane"
