Question is this based on projections for next season, what they did last season or a current players' best season? For example if you a current unnamed Laker, are you getting MVP/5 Championships guy or 38 and injured guy?
Jazz would have to trade or cut players to do the deal. Not sure the gain of a 2nd rounder is worth getting rid of Cooley, Motum, etc. Portland and Philly can do deal with Cavs without waiving or trading anyone, especially since Cavs want the trade exception not any players.
He definitely got some bad advice. JR Smith and Matt Barnes are year-to-year contract players. The Knicks made a terrible mistake signing him to a long term deal and got the Cavs to take him. Did he really think another team was going to sign him to a long term deal after that, especially...
It's a camp invite, but I called that on this site a few times. I always thought the Spurs were the best for him. Now, he could fill the role left by Bellineli.
If it is decided in the middle, Barkley dominates Dirk on the board. I would never describe Dirk as someone who controls the paint. In particular, in this match-up, Dirk will be strictly a long range jump shooter and he will be pushed out anytime he is 10 feet from the basket. And Mourning...
I feel like the anti-Lakers bias clouds judgement here. Subjectively speaking, if Jazzfanz voters were being objective, I don't think I would have tied in the first round and wouldn't be losing this round. Spy had a better team than OL, but I'm 4 votes down on OL and tied Spy???
Klay had a terrible Finals overall, so I don't know if I would trust him in this 7 game series amongst the greats. He might be right for this in 2-3 years, but it is a bit too early to anoint him as a Top SG ever.
Ray Allen 100% deserves to be in and probably start in a series like this.
It's style of play thing. WC's players played in an era where floor spacing wasn't as important and players were able to still able to get 30 through the mid-range and points around the basket. The players dictate the style of play and Dr. J didn't need shooters around him then to get his...
Kyrie and Kevin Love could stuff a stat sheet too, but neither saw even one playoff series until they played with LeBron. Point is saying Hardaway matched Magic (in his last season btw) stat for stat makes him equal in any way to Magic is a joke. I would stick with your front court arguments.
