Conley to the bench makes the most sense if we want to win more games. But we won't bench a 30M a year guy because of politics and because of Snyder.
And unfortunately there is no magical injury that can happen to make Snyder realize this the hard way like he did with Ingles.
Quin is the most overrated coach in the NBA. We have a talented roster, but have played well below expectations. And instead of blaming Quin, most people (including most jazzfanz posters) blame the players.
It literally took a Mike Conley injury for Quin to put Ingles in the starting lineup...
Wtf. Waiving Green can be a good for our future. But not if our plan was to sign a nobody and give Niang, the worst player on the roster, some more playing time.
We missed a lot of open three pointers towards the end of the 4th quarter. Perhaps some of that was due to good Heat offense - they made us chase them all over the court.
Preseason expectations would have us winning this game even without Conley. However, given the reality that our team is not...
More like laughing at you and the other salty, irrational fans.
Do everyone a favor and stop posting on here. You can use that time to give Snyder more blowjobs than you already do.
Snyder's only concern is keeping his job, which in Utah is a really easy thing to do. The only requirement for that is to not have a horrendous record.
Taking the time to develop Dante, or any player for that matter, is high risk and virtually no reward for Snyder. Even if he had taken the time...
People are going to think we are a good team after this stretch of playing ****** teams. People already doing this when all we did was beat the lowly Timberwolves who were on 5 game losing streak coming into the game smh.
I wonder how many people have changed their minds. I still wouldn't because I don't think CP's contract is too huge and doesn't put us over the top. But I still (obviously) think he is better than Conley.
I've always wanted him to succeed since he has some physical tools that could make him a great player, but his shot is something he could have worked on even while he was injured.
That and the fact that Snyder doesn't like him, is why I'm pretty much giving up on him. No point in being hopeful...
I reviewed the highlights. We improved a little, but a lot of it was Memphis sucking. We would have got destroyed by the Lakers if we had to play them agian.
On a random call out, looks like Mudiay played well. Looked like he was trying not to be a ballhog and make the right plays.
I didn't get to watch the 3rd quarter and most of the 4th quarter. So I can really only comment on the first half.
Pros: The start of the game looked promising. The offense actually had all 5 people moving around.
Cons:
The second unit had the same offensive scheme as the past 20 games. I.e...
