In Gordon's defense the dip in assist is what's to be expected. He is always on the court with at least two players who can handle the ball. That has never really happen in his career before.
How many mins was Trey on the court the same time as Williams? How many points did Williams score with Trey defending him? Mo got off to that hot start when Neto was defending him.
His assist numbers aren't his fault guys just are missing shots. It happens and if he continues to create open looks those numbers will even itself out. Another problem with not playing with floor spacers is that when he drives there isn't a lot of space to drop it off to bigs for easy dunks.

If you watch Burke though he's not just shooting well he's playing smarter. Which to your point is probably because he's not taking the whole "scorer off the bench" thing too literal. The only game I thought he started shooting too much was the Grizz game, but when you start that hot it's...
I say trade Burke. As good as he's playing his skilkset doesn't really fit this team. All the wings on this team are really good at handling the ball which has been Trey's biggest consistent strength. He needs to be on a team with floor spacers not other guys doing what he essentially does best...
Proud of Burke for what appears to be significant sustainable improvements. I just hope he doesn't give up on trusting his teammates. Yesterday in the first half he did a damn good job finding teammates and they were missing earlier. Then he got hot and then played a little selfish in the second...
Whether who is the better player remains to be seen. These are third year players none of them having a history of success in the league. I'd say right now McCollum is probably the consensus better prospect. Which didn't have anything to do with my original point.
All much more improved. He did well guarding Lillard the few chances he got. Lillard was just in a zone. Burke defensive improvements to me overshadows his offensives improvements. Plus he is making some great passes, guys just aren't making shots which you expect will get better.
How many double digit assist games does McCollum have? Shooting is not the only part of the game that matters. Trey has had a 15 assist night therefore CJ has never had a game like Trey. Neither that fact or yours makes either better or worse than the other. AS I point out they have differing...
Actually there's stats that say McCollum haven't heaved the ball. Trey has two which aren't legit shot attempts.
You keep talking about one game. Where they both took the same attempts and ignoring all the other games were they haven't. I can make any case I want if I'm doing so on a one game...
I swear some of you people on this board comprehension skills are seriously lacking. CJ has played better than Trey the 5 or 4 games respectively I already said that. The point is McCollum won't come to a team like the Jazz with so many other guys looking for their offense and take 18.5 shots a...
