This is the best you have? Honestly the stats still favor Dennis because 1) that 3 point % is unsustainable. 2) Schroder's 4.6 APG + 11.4 PPG > Trey's 1.6 APG and 16.8 PPG.

But hopefully Trey keeps up the play as his role coming off the bench suits us well

hahahahahah so your argument is

1) let's ignore one stat
2) lets compare the worst assisting team in the NBA (with essentially zero 3-point shooters) with one of the best (if not the best) assisting team in the NBA

phone home pal. Burke is averaging ****ing 50/50/100 right now. Open your eyes.

Lol if you think Burke's true 3 point average is 52.2%, then you are essentially saying that Burke is the best 3 point shooter in the game today. You are clearly delusional.

The assist numbers are concerning but he has a very specific role on this team now. I do wish he would dish it off more when he gets in trouble under the basket. His percentages will most certainly take a dip, but they are still promising. He's not Steve Nash though.

Unless he IS Steve Nash...

His stats are looking real nice, but the key for me is the eye test. He looks like things have really slowed down for him and he's playing smart and under control. Shot looking smooth too.

I know Dal can be overzealous, but he clearly said "right now".

His assist numbers aren't his fault guys just are missing shots. It happens and if he continues to create open looks those numbers will even itself out. Another problem with not playing with floor spacers is that when he drives there isn't a lot of space to drop it off to bits for easy dunks.

Feed me your hate

Lets just pick and choose what people say, eh? Seems to be what a lot of Jazz fanz posters do here.

He clearly said "Lets ignore one stat" implying that he believes Burke's actually shoots that well.

Second, he's using these last five games as justification for Burke being worth more than Schroeder in a trade. Trades are made on perceived real value. Hence, this further confirms that he believes Trey actually shoots the 3 point % that well, not just over a five game span.

Thus, he is still overzealous, and even with Trey putting up all time stats, it still pails in comparison to what Schroeder does on average. And this is not even taking into account defense, in which Schroeder>>>>>Trey. There's a reason point guards are having their way against us.

them back-handed compliments are just freaking hilarious right now.

Name 5 back-up PGs playing better so far this season.
It was a legitimate compliment. Considering before the season I thought his best spot on a basketball court was riding pine. It's been 7 games in which he's been good in 6. I said he's been good WTF else are you looking for? Just because I'm not willing to completely reverse my opinion after 6 good games doesn't mean I can't appreciate the good he has done.

I'm still not sold. But I'm far more encouraged than I have been in over a year about his potential in the league.

im gonna have field days bumping threads and posts this season. oi vei.

Trey burke looked really good so far. I never thought i would say it but he needs more playing time.
Also, alec back to the bench and his minutes back down again (13 in the first half..... hood with 17 minutes and did very little with a minus 7 while he was on the court, which led the jazz)

yup

Gobert gets mugged on every rebound.
I think the jazz really do get screwed by the refs more than any other team

Favors is so money from mid-range

Come on Hayward

Is alec in the doghouse for some reason?
