    Game 3: The Phoenix: Philadelphia 76ers @ Utah Jazz (12/30/11, 7pm MST)

Here's one that I checked in realgm.com that works: Jefferson and Bell to Houston for Kevin Martin and Hasheem Thabeet. Depth Chart: PG: Devin Harris, Earl Watson, Jamaal Tinsley SG: Kevin Martin, C.J. Miles, Alec Burks SF: Gordon Hayward, Josh Howard, Jeremy Evans PF: Paul Millsap, Jeremy...

    Game 3: The Phoenix: Philadelphia 76ers @ Utah Jazz (12/30/11, 7pm MST)

I personally want the Jazz to trade Bell and Jefferson for an all-star caliber shooting guard. Our team would be amazing with super shooting guard. Favors and Kanter need more playing time and Bell is not the answer at SG. Thoughts? --- I am here...

Shaun Powell @ NBA.com picks Jazz #5 in West?

I think it's possible. The Jazz are ridiculously deep right now. Lots of teams have great players buck lack any real depth (the Miami Heat as a prime example). The reason I think that the Jazz will be really good this season in that teams simply cannot compete with the level of overall depth...

    Jazz - Sacramento Trad

The Jazz could have had Jimmer Fredette if they really wanted him with the 3rd overall pick. They obviously weren't interested enough to either draft him or they would have. Everyone thought the Jazz drafted Hayward too high with the 9th overall pick in 2010. I don't know how the Jazz could have...

Jazz starters according to Jazz produced Media Notes:

I'll say it: where the hell is Jeremy Evans in that depth chart? Hasn't anybody noticed this? There is no way that can be the final depth chart. There is no way Bell OR Okur should be getting minutes over Evans. He is way to talented to just keep on the bench.

Can the C.J. Miles experiment please end?

We are freaking stacked at the shooting guard and small forward positions. I'm going try to curb my enthusiasm after tonight because we didn't see Millsap, Jefferson, or Howard, but I think that the Jazz definitely make it back to the playoffs this year. C.J. and Gordon Hayward really impressed...

will a Jazzman make the All-Star game? (poll)

I think that Paul Millsap might make it. I think he flourishes this year as our starting small forward.

    I'm totally going.

    headband ban stands

You guys do realize that the Jazz are not the only team that don't allow headbands, right? The Bulls don't allow it either. I know there are a few other teams that have the same rules.

    Depth Chart Predictions

I actually agree with SalmonHobo on this. The starting lineup of Harris, Hayward, Millsap, Favors, and Jefferson gives us the best chance of winning games. If Paul has a realistic future with our team, it is going to be at Small Forward. Especially since teams like the Lakers, who still have...

Josh Howard has agreed to terms with Utah

Why does everybody think that Josh Howard is going to start? I think that he most likely will be one of the primary reserves. Remember, he is coming off of MAJOR knee surgery. That is why we got him so cheap. He probably will never be the player he once was. I don't know if he is quite ready yet...

Corbin admits the Jazz don't have a traditional 3??

Paul Millsap and Jeremy Evans are our small forwards right now. Playing Millsap and Evans primarily at SF opens up minutes for Favors and Kanter to develop at the PF and C positions while Okur and Jefferson hold down the fort. Gordon Hayward (starter) and C.J. Miles (primary reserve) should be...

    Official Record Prediction Thread

I'm going to say 44-22. We have some pretty awesome talent this year. I know it might be a bold statement, but I'm thinking that we could be pushing for home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Corbin Says, "“[Favors] may come into camp and blow our minds away”

Favors and Hayward have future all-star status written all over them. Gordon reminds me of a young Manu Ginobili mixed with Jeff Hornacek. IMO, Derrick has All-NBA-type potential. The Jazz have pretty much NEVER had a player with his combination of elite athleticism, defensive ability, and low...

Jazz may start Okur at 5, Jefferson at 4 and Millsap at 3

There is absolutely no way that Raja Bell is going to be a starter. He likely won't even get any minutes this season. IMO, we basically have 4 of our 5 starters set right now: Harris (PG), Hayward (GF), Millsap (F), and Jefferson (FC). The fifth starter is either going to be C.J. Miles (GF) or...

Corbin Says, "“[Favors] may come into camp and blow our minds away”

The Jazz get Golden State's lottery pick this year. We just got a top 3 pick in this year's draft (Enes Kanter) to go along with Favors and Hayward in last year's draft.

Corbin Says, "“[Favors] may come into camp and blow our minds away”

Why do you have to bench one of them? Why can't you just start all three (Millsap at SF, Favors at PF, and Jefferson at C)? This trio seemed to work pretty well together at the end of last season.

Corbin Says, "“[Favors] may come into camp and blow our minds away”

Miles, Okur, Watson (now that we now he is back), Kanter (who is very talented offensively), and Burks (who was a scoring machine in college). IMO, Millsap is too important to our team to have him come off the bench. Besides, the Jazz almost never play with exclusively reserve players. They...

    Gordon "Muscle Man" Hayward

The ideal size for an NBA shooting guard is between 6'6" and 6'8" IMO. Added muscle makes players stronger and more durable. However, the grind of a long NBA Season (even if it is only 66 games) makes it very difficult for players to maintain their weight. I would guess that Gordon will play...
