She just posted a bunch of letters from 7th graders saying it was so nice of them to send letters to stay.
I assume this means he is staying otherwise cruel post.
Hayward is old school. Will not talk before. I remember Richard Jefferson mouthing off Hayward shouldn’t hold out for Max offer and that really pissed Hayward off.
People always underestimate his desire to win
The question Hayward has to ask is can the Jazz win it before Goberts...
I agree. His podcast 2 days ago felt like he was
Greasing the skids he may leave
He highlighted 2 things that Locke said were legit that pissed Hayward off
1. Too much losing
2. His rfa contract year where they wouldn’t pay him. This is also the reason he is a ufa this summer instead...
What Boston has that Utah does not is the ability to attract free agents.
They can change the makeup of their team more quickly than the Jazz can.
The more I think about it (don't laugh), Hayward --> LA Lakers....
Well, not good for the stayward campaign.
Jazz only can offer +1 year with slightly more money years 1-4.
Gtime --> Boston is now probably a 50/50 deal.
I'm a butler bulldog fan who has followed since Hayward drafted. Bought NBA league pass and have watched every jazz game since
Actually got to see a game in SLC when I was on a business trip
I think your points are valid and most likely correct.
All else being equal I think it may come down to this only difference:
Utah: Great City, Easy Media, King of Hill, at times has issues attracting big free agents
Boston: Great City, Sports Media tough, Celtics not top team, not King...
If the Jazz can get a real PG(not injury prone Hill), then Hayward / new PG / Gobert can be a force to be dealt with for at least 4 years (their contracts)
Only having 2 of the 3 will be much more difficult.
This game IMO will have 0 impact on Haywards decision.
Boston can go from suck to great fast because FA's see them as a storied franchise.
That is the issue we fight.
I still think Jazz vs Celtics are the final 2.
Hayward will have an easier time reaching the NBA finals with Boston.
We...
Because jazz made a fair offer and prevented him going to be a RFA
Jazz tried to screw Hayward which made him get his max offer they then matched
That was 3 years ago
We will soon see if Hayward holds a grudge
Gordon is who he is.
He plays in a system and will always pass to someone for a better shot. He has gotten better at "taking his" but it is not in his DNA. I think he will always be a borderline all-star Top 20 player in the NBA. Nothing wrong with that. There are few Lebron, Durants out...
