    Who is going to score?

Hayward 18 Kanter 18 Favors 14 Burks and Rush combine for 20 in one way or another. Burke 13 14 from other players. 97 ppg.

    Rank the 5

This one. Favors maybe above Hayward if Karl somehow taught him something, but I've seen no signs of him developing an offensive game since he's been in the league.

Turning in my Jazz fan card

I find myself caring more about the Warriors, Grizzlies, and Nuggets than us this year. And the Twolves healthy. Hope this changes, but if not, c'est la vie.

If it makes you feel any better (or worse), I don't just alter stats willy-nilly. I apply basically the same process to the entire league I alter close/short/mid/long by these stats. Layup/Dunk/ShootinTraffic/ShootoffDribble are based on eyetest and being smart about %'s (udonis haslem...

First of all, I've obsessively worked on the rosters to make them suck less. Right now for the Jazz I have Millsap 79, Jefferson 76, Kanter 76, Favors 76, Hayward 76, Burks 72, Mo/Foye/Marvin 71, Carroll 70. I've worked on the whole league though to try to make it somewhat accurate. Second of...

    51 today

I might have had a few to drink, but I truly think that Stockton is the best half-court set offensive player of all time.

Gamethread: aka Next stop in the corbin tank tour At Dallas 24/3 at 17:30

I hope we are tanking, we're 3-12 over the last 15 if we lose this one. I mean if you're in a playoff race and an above .500 team, then suddenly start playing .200 basketball when it matters most...And you're not tanking? That would just be pathetic.

For once it was both the vets and the bench working together in suckitude.

Ty Corbin and the 10,000 hour rule

The thing about the '10,000 rule' is that it doesn't mean that everyone who spends 10,000 hours on something becomes great at it. It just means that in order to get great at something, you will need to put around 10k hours into it. It doesn't mean that you necessarily will be great if you do...

Who would you rather see in a Jazz uni next season?

It's been fun watching AK on minny. Having him on this team would definitely improve my enjoyment in watching the team more than Korver, so that's enough for me.

Flip tells utah to buy a fishing pole

This is really going to go down to the wire regarding Houston, Utah, and L.A. (Warriors should finish in the playoffs at this point unless they really collapse.) Lakers have a pretty average schedule. Basically even split home and away, against over .500 teams and under, 5 b2b's. Assuming...

The Jazz's best 5 players RIGHT NOW

I'm an Al-Jeff and Mo-Will hater, (I think our 3 best players are clearly Paul, Gordon, and Favors) and even I have to admit the answer to our best 5 is Mo-Gordon-Millsap-Favors-Al Kanter and Burks will almost certainly be better than Mo/Al in a couple years, but they aren't yet.

Nearly half way there. Rate the season so far...

If the goal is to be a playoff contender, then we get a D because we have no chance of being relevant this year and we aren't currently preparing our young players for the future very well. If the goal is putting a watchable and fun product on the floor, we get an F because this team is...

ESPN Insider - Why a Millsap-Gasol trade works

I'm not sure what's worse: That people have to pay to read this crap, or that someone gets paid to write it.

    Utah Jazz @ L.A. Lakers - Dec 9 - 7:30 PM MST - Root Sports

This was a fun game to watch, except for Foye guarding Kobe, which is the dumbest ****ing thing I've ever seen considering we have 3 legitimate defenders to guard Kobe (Marvin, Gordon, Demarre)

    Trade Mo

He's drawing up plays where the ball is in Williams' hands and it's up to his decision making whether we lose or win. Not a recipe for success.

    Trade Mo

That's one play out of many at the end of the game, and obviously not what I was referring to.

    Ak47 ballin

Played 44 minutes last night, and was +8. The Wolves were outscored by 10 in the 4 minutes he sat on the bench. I miss AK. If you watch basketball off the ball, he's one of the smartest offensive and defensive players you'll ever see. He makes every team he touches significantly better...

    Trade Mo

I'd rather fire Corbin. He's the one that's drawing up these awful plays that don't utilize the strengths of the players. I think he's just decided that since Williams is a vet he gets to do whatever he wants in crunch time, when Williams couldn't decision-make his way out of a paper bag.

Game #9 Utah Jazz @ Boston Celtics - 11/14/12 - 5:30 PM MST Root Sports

I think the thing that frustrate me must about Corbin is that he doesn't utilize Hayward enough on the PnR. Every time Hayward comes off the PnR he makes a good decision. Unlike Mo Williams who is best utilized as a SG who brings the ball up the court. Why does Corbin only run 2-3 plays a...
