    Jan Vesely for President

No way we should draft Knight at 6. If Biyombo is still available at 6, he would be a much better option. Vesely will not still be their at 12, though. So, the Jazz brass should decide what they want: another PF (although a potentially great one) to suck up Favor's playing time, or a long and...

    Jan Vesely for President

For the season, he was shooting over 40% from the 3 point line. Obviously, he needs to spend about a thousand hours working on free throws with Hornychick, but I think the fundamentals are there. He probably just lacks focus and clear pre-shot routine on the free throw line. For example...

    Disconnected

Then draft his replacement Vesely without any psychological baggage and with a bigger, stronger, less-injury-prone body.

    Jan Vesely for President

At the risk of this devolving into another Jimmer thread, if he is available at 12, I'd take him.

    Jan Vesely for President

Bismack has 50% free throw shooting AND can't shoot from the perimeter. Vesely makes a good percentage of his perimeter shots during play. Plus, I have seen sites quote Biyombo's height as 6'7" without shoes. Giving him 2 extra inches in shoes to 6'9" doesn't seem right. I have taken to...

    Jan Vesely for President

I think a lineup including: C: Jefferson/Favors PF:Favors/Milsap SF: Vesely/Milsap SG:Hayward/Miles PG:Harris/ Let's say you interchange Vesely and Milsap. That makes a HUGE difference in overall length of the team on the defensive end. You can start Milsap at the 3 against some teams (but...

    Jan Vesely for President

We will have a hole at SF when the Jazz decide not to re-sign AK. Who better to replace AK than a stronger, younger, healthier player built from the same mold? Plus, chances are that Vesely won't have the same psychological issues that limited AK's potential. Few people remember that in AK's...

Jazz taking Jimmer #6 "most logical pick in NBA Draft History"

Seriously, if only players and GMs had this much forethought. Collusion to add equal value for your superstar at no added charge. Just be willing to play without him for a year and a half until he can come back via free agency.

    Milsap at Small Forward Full-time

How many on here think that Milsap should be moved to small forward full-time? Sure, he does a passable job on defense against most PFs, but he can't come close to guarding some of the 6-10 and up big guys in the league. This is not to denegrate his game in any way. Since he has come into...

Jefferson thinks Sloan can unleash the ‘Beast' that's been in him for "so long"

I am plenty relaxed. I am not offended personally. But I definitely think that Al Jefferson would have every reason to be. Even if not directly brining race into the discussion, you are insulting his language, his culture, and where he grew up. I just think you are reinforcing the...

Jefferson thinks Sloan can unleash the ‘Beast' that's been in him for "so long"

Stop it with the racism You guys really need to cut out the talk about "ghetto-boy" and "Mississippi". Just because someone grew up in a southern state or a poor neighborhood, does not make them stupid. If a player grew up under hard circumstances, perhaps that's one of the reasons he is...

Jeff Foote--Why not in the 2nd round or as an undrafted signee?

WOW! Do we really need 5 awkward white centers? Don't waste the 1st round pick on Aldrich. He's barely better than Foote. Bringing in Tomic would be ideal but probably wouldn't happen. I agree with resigning Fes. Give Koufos minutes at PF. Draft Foote in the 2nd round.

How high is your risk for cancer?

But you could also take a Vitamin D pill then stay out of the sun and avoid increased skin cancer risk... I think I remember that passage in the D&C. God sure did figure everything out for us good ol' MORmONS.

How high is your risk for cancer?

By the way, I am a physician. Your cancer risk is lowered by having never smoked and that is about it. Except for esophageal cancer, alcohol plays very little role in cancer risk. Moderate alcohol use is cardioprotective.

How high is your risk for cancer?

Whatever dude. If you can't see how your comment was condescending, you will never be able to relate to non-members. If your goal is to show people the good in what you have, you don't do it by bragging or elevating yourself above them. This kind of puffery and BS testimonials is why I can't...

Chad Ford's latest Mock, June 9th

Ditto. Plus, Babbitt WILL become a decent defender. Reasons: 1) He is extremely athletic. 2) He has a big strong frame--we aren't talking about Kevin Durant--this guy is built like a 4, but moves like a 3. 3) He works hard. 4) He handles himself professionally and responsibly. 5) When has...
