Um, Donovan shot 34% from the floor, 25% from 3 in that series. He stunk.
Edit: I get that 'he attacked' but 97 points on 125 possessions isn't good. In fact, it's terrible.
Because the passer takes over 2 extra seconds to make the pass, and Favs still can't get there.
And i made the gif just because i think his lack of foot speed and athleticism is pretty clearly on display there.
Favs is glacially slow around the perimeter.
Jae isn't anything special by any means. He's just average at doing the things a 4 next to Gobert needs to do, which is much better than Favs is at doing the things a 4 next to Gobert needs to do. Favs isn't bad, he just isn't as good as Gobert...
I liked the idea of a Donovan-Korver-Jingles lineup but so far it hasn't worked. It seemed like it would be really hard to stop but so far ORtg: 83.3/100.
Interesting you would say that. I noticed that RPM has Dante as the 435th best player in the league and Alec Burks as the 436th best player in the league (out of 447 players)
I believe our official position is that Ben Simmons being hurt but on an NBA roster was a gigantic advantage and thus he should not qualify for Rookie of the Year but Dante having five such seasons does not actually count as real time.
