What's new

12-11-2010, Jazz @ Mavs, 6:30 Utah Time

Didn't see game thread. No pictures. Straight bidniss.

Keys to victory will be not playing like we did against them at home! Duh!

LETS GET IT!!!! Go Jazz!

It does seem that the Jazz do have this on their minds from the post game comments last night.

Lets hope DWill doesn't leave JKidd wide open for 3's and that well the defense overall is more like what we saw in the 2nd half of last nights game vs. the Magic. If it is I think the Jazz will have a definite chance to seek this revenge and instead of celebrating (Harp commented the Mavs celebrated a bit too much for his liking) the Jazz just walk back to the locker room and then celebrate the hell out of that locker room.

any word on Raja?

Our ability to shoot the three is pretty integral to a W... you know they are going to bust out that zone again. Calling out: DWill, CJ, Raja (?), AK, Millsap (if you're open for a three, dude, f'n take it), Hayward (sigh). We need 8 three pointers out this crew on 40% shooting

I think you have to set a physical tone with Dirk. Let AK drive him crazy again, and have Elson put him on his *** Big-Dogg style.

Transition D. nuff said. Barea and Marion can kill you here, extending leads while the starters rest.

Im going to go ahead and predict a break out game for Gordon Hayward (if he starts). By break out game I mean like 8 or more points.

Not that they'd play Fes, despite his impressive few minutes against Dallas last week and Elson's worst performance of the season.

After our next three games, 11 of the the next 15 are against teams with losing records and even those winning opponents are hardly frightening; two are against Portland (one home, one away), one's at the Knicks, and one's at home vs. the Hawks. Let's take 18 more in a row to bring it to 19. My goal for our team by that point is 31-11.

I agree. This team needs to show that it's willing to make some enemies out there. That we will put someone on the floor once or twice if they (dirk) start getting hot. Unfortunately that is not the modern nba. They are all buddies, and there is no longer that kind of passion in the game.

Oh Big Dogg... where are you when we need ya...

I really like this post a lot.

Sadly, I think we are going to lose this one. I would love nothing more than to eat crow over it, but we have shown with Dallas and Miami recently that we have a hard time hanging when the other team doesn't implode. Here's hoping for a Dallas implosion of epic proportions!
