That took courage. The PR dude walked by to shut him up, and he said it again.

Jazz need players like him. We have too many pushovers and wimps.
 
Yeah Kanter may have just wrote his ticket to a new team. It was honest and very refreshing, but DL may not have enjoyed that.
 
Kanter started saying something and then the PR guy walked by and motioned or said something to him. Locke kept asking Kanter "what?" and told him to just say it. Kanter said he started to say something he shouldn't or something. Then he said, "The five young guys should have played more." Then, like mentioned above, said if it's a rebuilding year then why not play them.

Locke started playing Devil's Advocate with him and explained what the phrase meant and asked him about Favors playing better with Kanter on the bench, how Kanter doesn't quite help the team win yet ("they're better with you off the floor"), etc. Kanter's handled it well and said that he and Favors need more time together to learn how to play with each other more/better.

If the FO is that vindictive, it may be best for him. He has been misused for 3 years now. I would be frustrated too. Kid took all the **** for 1-14 when it was a team problem.
 
No way that's enough for him to get shuttled out of town, if the FO really thinks he's a key cog for this team moving forward.

It's nice to see that attitude permeate in the locker room, though. Don't think these guys are big Ty fans. See ya, Corbin.
 
Gordon criticized pace of play. Kanter criticizes playing time and rotations. Gobert criticized playing time.


Power in numbers. Hoepfully FO responds by letting Ty go by the end of the week.

Kanter doesn't help the team win? Yep, because obviously it was his fault JLIII and Old Man Tinsley were running the team during the big losing streak. And the times he started instead of Favors? Yep, the team isn't any weaker by deducting a core player. So the blind squirrels found an acorn last night. I'm sure it had nothing to do with Love and some other TWolves playing at half-speed.

Locke is nothing but a Jazz shill. He'll say whatever management wants him to. They'll ride Kanter into the ground to try to turn public opinion against him. Kanter is gone, given Lindsey's monetary commitment to Derrick and Favors' comments about not wanting to be a center. Better hope the Jazz luck into Embiid or Gobert turns into Hakeem.
 
Locke is such a hater. Does he really think Jazz fans will side with him over Kanter on this one?
 
Kanter should know better than that. The Jazz erased their bench as part of the tank strategy and needed a couple guys off the bench to cover for it. They were also trying to boost Marvin's and R Jeff's trade value.

Untrue.
There was a deal for Marv for a late first round pick, but DL didn't take it. DL says he believes Marv can be a part of the future.
