Sounds like Jefferson has finally had enough putting up with the crybaby's **** all season long.

We used to root for humble players like John Stockton who were willing to sit and take advice from those who knew more than they. That respect for knowledge is clearly gone from this fanbase.

What makes you believe he's a hard worker? The instagram picture?

He worked hard, OK?

I think depending on how the draft works out kanter should be considered a trading chip to round out the roster. Favors can't cover every mans guy and if nothing else the homers HAVE to agree Kanter is a horrendous defender.

When did any Turk say a good thing about his defense ever? Yes I'm speaking also on behalf of others. (Except Krespino. I don't know whatever this guy thinks)

Most Turks are homers alright, but they are the 1st ones to slap his ****ing nape when he does wrong.

I wish it would have worked out. It hasn't and won't.

Won't?! The guy is, actually the KID is yet to leave 21 behind in May! How can you cut the possibility of Kanter and Favors growing into a duo so sharply?

BTW, I think RJ is pissed at Kanter coz he doesn't give a **** what he says as a veteran.

But if whatever he said/quoted is true, I believe Kanter must be on crystal meth or smth.

All jokes aside, people in here, especially the ones who are not Turkish need to consider smth very carefully judging this guy. Whoever the Kanterman was before injury, cut his picture's borderlines and paste it to the scrapbook. Coz he is gone broz. This new guy is gonna be more serious and hardworking and set to the goal than before. His philosophical comprehension of life-related concepts have changed. He is a more responsible player now.

Dude....KLOVE hasn't won a thing in the NBA and I think further proves my point that offensive un athletic bigs are not optimal in today's league. I prefer defensive minded guys in the front court and athletic shooters/slashers on the wings. We have to focus on defense.

I agree.

NBA's problem is -or was-whatever- emphasizing the offensive individual success too much.

Kanter must learn to defend at the best level he can. He has to be a complete player. He is right about offensive skillset in the sleeve of a bigman is a rarity, but that solely does not win you the title kiddo.

I disagree.
Favors is a great player given his contract.
I kinda overreacted at first to his contract but he was good this season, very good.

as regards your name-calling; as I wrote in that private mesage; your trolling cannot get to me, for in real life "real dopes" like you have to ask for appointment to have a 5 minute talk with me, if ever granted, that is!

note for Kanter: read some books.

:D :D :D

Damn right.

Aside from Risale-i Nur, that is.

Even Kevin Garnett has not won anything in Minny, thats just a horrbile franchise. Ohhh and even BIG-AL who is the best BIG in the NBA right now.

:D

Your 2nd man Kanter said good stuff about your 1st man. You must have missed him big time.

You're a decent poster, so I apologize for sounding a little more confrontational than I should have been. Guess I'm just tired of seeing blanket statements such as we could have gotten "this" or Lindsey should do whatever it takes, etc. AS you said, we don't know the details. But given the fact that Turner and Hawes fetched nothing more than 2nd's, I think it's likely a first round pick would have required taking on a contract with at least another year left. Otherwise, I think DL would have jumped on it; he likes to accumulate assets.

this. nuff said.

You insinuated multiple times today that Favors should be or could be moved to make room for a kanter/ gobert front court.

Only dopes like tarkanian would agree with this. The rest of the leagues fanbase would be like.....whaaaaa? Trade favors here please.

I've insinuated *could while responding to another hypothetical of Kanter and Hayward being moved. I did not say he should. It was because he is the only one inked with a track record of real value. With the CBA's new shorter contracts, trading a player in their third year doesn't get you much. Evan Turner, the 2nd pick in 2010 only netted a second round pick.

I don't know why this concept is so hard for you to understand. Just because I am high on Kanter doesn't mean I hate Favors. I'm still high on Favors, I just think he's approaching plateauing.

I personally wouldn't trade either.

Please embed this in your memory so I don't have to keep telling you this.

He was trolling him. As a troll, you should know this. Watch Kanter's podium speech where he talks to the media about this. He tells them you need both and he knows that.

And trolling RJ is/was more than appropriate considering how atrocious RJ was on D all year.

And to Franklin and others, I congratulate Kanter on his disregard for the condescending advice of our crappy vets. The FO says they want nasty, and they want some leaders. This is a first step. Gordon and Favors have continuously been deferring to the vets. Kanter has shown that he can be taught. He has absorbed the teachings of Big Al and Malone, but part of being a leader is being able to make up your mind even when someone outranks you. RJ talking to Kanter about defense is disingenuous. Now I'm not saying Kanter is the right person to lead us, but him not taking **** and blame from someone who is equally at fault for the team's defense is a strength, not a weakness. RJ is a joke.

Listen to Kanter at the podium where he says how he thinks you need both.

I said before the season started that Jefferson should start and play big minutes to be that veteran presence that keeps the team together. Burks should be the punch off the bench. Today, Corbin said Jefferson was the calming veteran presence who helped them through jittery times, and Burks was a big help scoring off the bench.

Here's to many more years of Corbin making solid bball decisions like this.
As long as he's making those decisions for a team other than Utah I'm good with it.

Of course he was. Get a grip.

Richard Jefferson, top 3-point shooter in the league.

Enes Kanter, won 3 games as a starter.

He is?
Based on percentage or 3PT FG's made?

While 123 of 301 FG3 for 40.9% is certainly good, RJ is not even close to being the top 3-PT shooter in the league on whatever measurement you choose. Curry made the most 3PT FG's (261/615) and also had a higher percentage at 42.4%. I think 123 makes ties RJ for 41st in the league.

Not sure how many 3PT attempts it takes to qualify for the percentage award, but looking down the list I see Korver at 47.2% on 185/392. Of the players that had at least 100 makes. RJ is not in the top-10 in terms of 3PT%.
