Damn. Being in first is a whole lot better
Jazz are messing it up. You can't have winning streaks especially on the road. That is 5 of the last 10 they have won. All because Trey burke came back. Why couldn't he have just missed another month. Oh well. My hope now is for Embiid to fall to the Jazz around 5-6 and for GS to miss the playoffs so they can get Young. Trade Kanter to move up to get Embiid if you need to.

That wouldn't be that bad of pick up honestly.
Especially with how well Favors and Burke are playing. And Hayward has been doing pretty well too. Burks off the bench, thats a playoff team that could become really good.

Don't give up hope yet guys. Burke has for sure changed the dynamics of this team, but I fully expect to see them drop a bunch here in the near future. They might not have the worst record, but they started off bad enough that they should finish bottom three. As long as they're in the top 4 they should get a great player. If they get lucky, the Tankers pick moves up into the top three and they get two franchise-changing players. As frustrating as they've been, I'm fully expecting the Tankers to finish in the lottery.

They'll be better once Sanders comes back, but I wish like He'll that the Jazz were playing all they're young guys like that. The only reason they should give extensive minutes to vets is to trade them. Unfortunately, that makes too much sense for Ty Corbin to do it.

Golden state has won 4 games after coming back from a huge deficit and winning at the very end. Take those 4 wins and flip them into the loss column and they're a bottom 10 team. I fully expect them to end up there by the time the season is over. Too many minutes. Too many injuries. Not enough depth.

Having Embiid and Favors on Defense would be a pretty tough defense to contend against.
They have also played 14/24 games on the road and only 4 games against the Eastern conference. They have played a tougher schedule so far. They have a long eastern road stretch at the beginning of January. We will know a lot more about them after that trip.
