14th Tank Platoon

Good L tonight. To bad Boston lost. Also Gasol is not going on the Lakers road trip. Lakers are increasing their tank. Don't let me down Jazz.

GSW going on a 5 game losing streak

mem,nyk,dal,sa,sac

book it

Iggy is returning on Friday, lee' hamstrings are bugging him, and Curry is averaging over 36 minutes per game. Something needs to break for the jazz to catch a break.

But the biggest news is that Mark Jackson just demoted assistant coach Brian Scalabrine after a 30 minute coaches meeting following blow out loss to the spurs. Jackson said it was a difference in philosophy--a weak excuss similar to the one used earlier this season by the reprehensible a Jason Kidd. Although Kidd at least didnt hide in cowardice like Jackson has by attributing his latest demonstration of his inability to get along with others as "gods will".

There is some talk that Jackson has tried to get hired away by other teams, and the warriors have not extended his contract. Curry has thrown in his support, but the fans and maybe the owner don't like Jackson. Hopefully it all breakdowns and the team falls apart.

McDermott or Staskus at 14 would be nice.

Or Kyle Anderson.

But I'm not getting my hopes up on GS falling out of the playoffs.

He's too abrasive and can come off as too much of a loose cannon IMO. His coaching is good, but can you live with him day in day out? I'm not entirely surprised the owners don't like him.

Lakers just might be a better team WITHOUT Gasol. Did you see their ball movement against New York? Gasol doesn't fit D'Antoni's style; he's not that mobile anymore.

And what a FANTASTIC come-from-ahead loss by the Jazz. I've been sick so I went to bed with the Jazz up by 7. I was afraid to open Jazzfanz this morning and was prepared for all the *^%$&@! and moanin.' Instead, I find that Utah somehow managed to pull a Golden State and throw the game (away) in the last of the 4th. Wonder if Silver will launch an investigation.

Just the average inexperienced young guys. They have to go through some growing pains to get better though.

We certainly weren't trying to tank - Memphis is a damn good team and played a brilliant last few minutes to snatch it from us.

I was actually very impressed with our guys last night. Favors always plays well against good competition.

Games like last night are lessons that need to be learned. I think there were a lot of positives. Memphis has the best record since the all-star break. They play really good defense. Remember when everyone thought the Lakers robbed the Grizzlies in the Gasol trade. Well all you have to do is remember Mark Gasol went to the Grizzlies. Dude is a stud.

@AndrewDBailey: If Dallas and Phoenix finish 7-3, Memphis finishes 7-4, and Golden State finishes 5-6, the @utahjazz will have two lottery picks. #NBADraft

So there's a chance. Let's hope that GSW falls apart!
