What's new

14th Tank Platoon

Lakers have a home game vs. Pelicans tomorrow. Both teams played today so both will have fatigue. Should be an interesting game. Lakers are hot right now.

Just checking in. How the hell did we pull off a blowout loss to the Bucks? Needless to say, I'm ecstatic.

Lakers, Grizzlies, Kings all winners.

Good night all around, with the exception of the Knicks losing. I'm also worried about the Pelicans' free fall.

Can Philly lose 36 straight to catch Milwaukee?

Good night for the tank. This was a loss we shouldn't have had. But the next three are all possible (with the last two probable) wins. Then it's home to face a fading Atlanta team.

Don't count your Jabari's before they hatch!

2/11 @ Los Angeles Lakers - W (1 more night rest and Lakers played the Bulls 2 days ago) - 4:2
2/12 vs. Philadelphia 76ers (back to back) - L (Philly has a night rest and only a flight from Oakland) - 4:3
2/19 vs. Brooklyn Nets - L (Rested senior legs) - 5:3

2/20 - Trade Deadline - Hopefully DL flips Marvin and Jefferson for something.

2/22 vs. Minnesota T-Wolves - L (Minny has 2 nights of rest) - 7:3
2/24 vs. Boston Celtics - W (Both teams have same amount of rest, but Cs on a road trip) - 8:3
2/26 vs. Phoenix Suns - W (PHX on a back to back against MInny the night before, but it's 50-50 with the higher talent level/coaching, young legs and short flight from PHX) - 9:3
2/28 @ Cleveland Cavs (start 6 game road trip) - L (Cleveland having same amount of rest, coming home from OKC and they'll find together for a final playoff push, but it's close) - 10:3
3/02 @ Indianapolis Pacers - L - 11:3
3/03 @ Milwaukee (back to back) - W(MIlwaukee also hosts the Nets 2 nights prior to the game, but it's close) - 11:4
3/05 @ Washington Wizards - L (Home court adv)

3/08 @ Philadelphia 76ers (back to back and finish road trip) - W
3/10 vs. Atlanta Hawks - W (Home court and Hawks road trip, 3rd game in 4 nights)
3/12 vs. Dallas Mavericks - W (Dallas 3rd game in 4 nights AND on a back to back flying in from Oakland)
3/14 vs. Los Angeles Clippers - L
3/16 @ San Antonio Spurs - L
3/17 @ Houston Rockets (back to back away games against West playoff teams) - L
3/19 @ Memphis Grizzlies - L(Memphis has 2 nights rest, Jazz don't and ROAD)
3/22 vs. Orlando Magic - W(It's very close, Orlando has 2 nights rest, coming in from PHX, but home court adv and stuff)
3/24 vs. Detroit Pistons - L(Detroit on a road trip, with 1 night of rest, coming in from LAC. Very close, but I think Detroit's lack of range can't be abused from No-D Corbin)
3/26 vs. Memphis Grizzlies - L(Memphis has 1 night rest, 1st game on the road)
3/28 @ New Orleans Pelicans - L(Same amount of rest and road)
3/30 @ Oklahoma City Thunder - L
3/31 vs. New York Knicks (back to back) - L(NYK unfortunately on a back to back from Oakland as well, but it's very close due to home court)
4/04 vs. New Orleans Pelicans - L(Coming from Denver with 1 night of rest, but close due to home court)
4/06 @ Golden State Warriors - L
4/08 vs. Dallas Mavericks - L(Coming from Sacto with 1 night of rest)
4/11 vs. Portland Trailblazers - L
4/12 @ Denver Nuggets (back to back) - L(Denver with 1 night of rest, but 3 games in 4 nights, but it's at their place. Close one....)
4/14 vs. Los Angeles Lakers - W(Back to back for the Lakers)
4/16 @ Minnesota T-Wolves - L(Minny with 3rd game in 4 nights, but they got home court. Unfortunately close. I hope they're in playoff pursuit)

Jazz now on route for 26 wins by my statistics based prediction. Had to change a loss against Philly to a win due to certain trade deadline shenanigans.

After tonight Denver will have lost 12 of their last 13 . They are trying to join the tank but thankfully they started out so good shouldn't be a threat.

We shouldn't have to worry about them

Tonight they started lawson, foye, chandler, and faried..... that roster should start getting some wins now that they seem to be mostly healthy.
Ya they lost tonight but it was close. I think they have too much talent to really be a threat

So do 20 point losses to the Cavs and Bucks change anyones opinion about the status of our tank?

I still think we are too good to finish in bottom 5 position but im not so worried about finishing 10th or above anymore, so thats nice.

I still figure we finish 7th or 8th
